I stab my shovel down
And lift the dirt up
The beginning process
Of the whole cleanup
Digging fast
Making it deep
Low on energy
Need water, need sleep.
I'm finally done digging
I pull the body in the grave
It looks on blankly
With the death gift I gave
My body shakes
My heart pounds
I look behind me
Not wanting to be found
I start moving the dirt
Place into place
There she will lay
Forever in dirt's embrace
My body is heavy
Regret on my mind
I leave the forest
Leaving no trace behind
