“Sorry, you can’t–”
Drake shoved the guard as he stomped towards the elevator.
“What are you guys doing? Catch him!” The man shouted while struggling to get up, bewildered at why no one was making a move to catch that aggressive guy. The other guards and staff gave him a look, whispering to their mates before turning around to mind their own business.
One of the older staff in that extensive building came forward and pulled him up. “You are new here and that’s why I’m telling you. Don’t ever stop that guy when he comes here.” The man said, pointing towards the elevator, “That’s Drake Sivaan Rendell. The only outsider who doesn’t need permission and appointments here. If you ever lay a finger on him, our boss will fire you himself. Hope you’ll remember next time.” The man said, patting the shoulder of the guard whose mouth was hanging open.
When the elevator hit the thirteenth floor, Drake stormed towards the glass doors and barged it open.
