As soon as Arthi left Ajay said he was tired and left to his room. Since he was old didn't want to get stuck in weekend traffic they had booked him a room in the hotel.
Pradeep took Ajay to his room, after settling him comfortably, Pradeep gave him his medications told him rest and left living his grandpa alone in the room.
Ajay reached for his wallet which was on the night stand opened it, in which there was a picture of his wife Gowri and him they both were kissing Tarun`s check. The picture was taken on Tarun`s birthday, which was the last birthday he celebrated with his family. It was Ajay`s and Gowri`s favorite picture and also the last photo which they had taken with Tarun.
Arthi was copy of Tarun specially her eyes was exactly like her father and her think eyebrows. The food habits were also same everything about Arthi reminded him about his beloved son.
Tears welled up in Ajay`s eyes looking at the photo, caressing his face on the photo and then he remembered Arthi`s accusations. His hand trembled with fear the look on Arthi face was exactly like Tarun when he used oppose him.
His mind was turmoil he didn't know what to do, he just started the photo blankly. He never meant things happened this way. He started to think how it all started, they were happy family.
When Seema married Ramesh, He and Meena came to their life and home. Initially everything was fine. Ajay and Gowri liked Meena very much who was innocent girl and cared about everyone.
Even with studies she used to manage and do house chores, many times Gowri used to nag her not to do household works since there were servants to it. But Meena being her never listened, she used to say we can`t let servants to do everything.
Seeing Meena`s nature Ajay decided to make her his daughter in law and he proposed his thoughts to his beloved wife. Gowri loved Meena has her own daughter. So she had no objections to it, but she said we should ask and consider Tarun and Meena`s opinion about it. Even Gowri also mentioned Ajay that they should ask Ramesh about this relation and should take his opinions about it.
Gowri was an emotional person but she never let her emotions to get her way. She always thinks everything logically. Ajay was overconfident and stubborn who let's his anger win over him.
Ajay was confident that Tarun will never object to his decision. Since he used to obey. if his dad's order. During that period, Tarun went on the trip with Vijay. Ajay proposed about Tarun's marriage to Meena in front of Ramesh and Meena and asked about their opinions on it.
Ramesh was very happy and immediately agreed to the proposal, Meena hesitated little since she never saw Tarun in that way. Later she also agreed since everyone wished for her and Tarun marriage.
One day, Tarun had invited Rathi to home in order to introduce her to everyone on usual Sunday where all the Dixit and Rai family were present. But before he could introduce her to them, Ajay suddenly announced Tarun`s engagement with Meena. Hearing this Tarun froze for a moment and was in shock, he didn't knew how to respond with the sudden announcement.
Rathi always had an inferiority complex, since she was an orphan it took lot of effort from Tarun to convince her to accept his love for her. Tarun convinced her there parents would love her as he did and bought her home today in order to introduce.
But suddenly engagement announcement took Rathi off guard and Tarun froze after listening to what his dad just said. All were congratulating him and everyone looked very happy.
Seeing this Rathi felt she was not even qualified to be there, so she just ran out of the house.
Tarun felt overwhelmed and suffocated came out of his frozen state, when the Vijay pulled his arm and pointed him towards the running figure. Tarun shouted for Rathi wanted to run behind her, but stopped in his tracks when Ajay called him.
Tarun knew if he didn't speak now know everything will be out of his hand and he will definitely lose his love, his Rathi. Tarun turned around looked into Ajay`s eyes with determination and said...
Dad I never saw Meena that way, she is like a little sister to me and I don't want to marry her. I love someone else, her name is Rathi, and I bought her home today so I can introduce to you guys. Saying that Tarun ran behind Rathi leaving everyone dumb folded. Ajay was very furious and was raging in anger, he loved Tarun way too much. He couldn't digest that his son who never went against his decision objected him.
For the first time in his life, Tarun went against his wishes for Rathi, this enraged Ajay more. That's the reason he doesn't like Rathi, not because she was orphan or poor.
Ajay felt Rathi was reason for his rebel behavior he asked her to meet him. So he could offer Rathi money and asked her to get out of Tarun`s life. Rathi never even glanced at the money and agreed to his wishes to leave the town. All she could gather herself just to say...

Weeping his tears Rathi left the place. Rathi decided to leave this place for good. She knew that if Tarun appeared in front her it would be difficult for her to leave.
Rathi was already on the train to go far away from this place, When Tarun got to know about it, he rushed to the station and bought her back.
Tarun fought with his dad after know how his father offered Rathi money and asked her leave him. He even threatened that if this thing repeats that he will leave the house and never return.
