144 Finding Solace

Despite simmering resentment towards Ochir and his underlings, Alpha Aydin surprisingly called upon the entire village to aid in rescuing the fallen leader of the Rising Moon tribe from the lake. This request met with initial resistance, as many believed the man was receiving divine retribution for his actions.

Even Tuzi did not want to help. That awful man scared the children and Mr. Reindeer. The nerve of that silly alpha.

Alpha Aydin, however, wasn't swayed by the protests. He explained his reasoning for aiding Ochir, and his logic proved compelling. "If he dies in that lake, his ghost will haunt our village for all eternity. Do we really want a vengeful spirit like him to linger around? Just listening to his annoying voice is enough to send shivers down my spine."

And so, it was decided that the New Moon tribe would help the Rising Moon cronies save their wayward alpha from the lake. No one was happy about it, but it had to be done.
