An Unexpected Visit

Expelling the breath he had held within him for a while now, Ayden spoke with certainty, "Goddess Tuzi, I think you should become the Alpha of the New Moon tribe. Werewolf nation needs you to be."

Stunned by his heavy words, Tuzi lurched back with shocked eyes, unable to accept the conclusion he had drawn. Shaking her head negatively, she gasped, "No! No no no! Alpha Ayden! You're mistaken! I don't want to be Alpha! You are Alpha! You are my favorite Alpha! Please, this– We shouldn't say things like this!"

Though he understood her initial jolt from hearing his honest thoughts, the alpha werewolf couldn't help but chuckle softly. 

"Goddess Tuzi, please hear me out," he interjected delicately, hoping that he could calm her down.
