Chapter Two

Horishi was confused about why Kunikida checked on him. He paid and left. Ren came up behind him and took him. His skull earring fell. Dazai got sent a video of Horishi being hurt badly. "Horishi," Dazai said and shot up. "Kunikida, the port mafia, took Horishi," Dazai said. Kunikida looks. "I just saw him eating lunch at the cafe. Why take him," he asks. "Probably to get under Dazai's skin," Ranpo said. "Ranpo, please, you have to find him if anything happens to him," Dazai said. Ranpo takes out his glasses and puts them on, and points to the middle of the ocean. "He is on a boat almost dead, Dazai," he said. Kunikida rushed off with Atsushi. Horishi was bleeding badly and tied to a chair. Akutagawa hit him again hard. "How you have such a close relationship with Dazai," he said. Horishi spits blood out. "He raised me, you dick. He is like my father, you little shit stain," he said. Akutagawa left. Atsushi got on the boat and ran and found him and untied him, and helped him up Horishi used his ability, two skeletons helped, and Atsushi tossed him, and Kunikida caught him and laid him down, and they drove off. Horishi was in a lot of pain. "Kunikida tells Dad I love him," he mumbled and passed out. "Atsushi calls Akiko and tells her to get ready," he said as they docked Kunikida, picked him up and rushed to the car, and drove. Atsushi called the office, and Akiko met them outside and helped them in. She laid him down. Dazai looks. "Is he okay?" he asks. Akiko nodded, walking out "he was half dead, but he is resting asleep, Dazai; we need to talk," she said. Dazai nods and walks with her. "Horishi's mom, what do you know, Dazai," she asks. Dazai shrugs. "Not much. I was closer to his father. Why he always said she hated Horishi due to him being so dark? All I know is the woman he was with wasn't Horishi's mother," Dazai said. Akiko nods. "Alright, never mind then," she said and yawned. "Is it important I can try and find her?" Dazai said. Akiko shook her head. "Nah, just wanted to see what you knew," she said and walked away. Hiroshi sat up, breathing, touching his body. "Fucking Christ, I am alive," he said. He held his head and shook it. Dazai walks in and hugs him. "Dazai, why are you hugging me," he said. "I was worried about you," he said. "Dad, I am fine just had some strange dreams about Mom," he said. "Dazai, how did my dad die," he asks. Dazai looks at Akiko. She waved and left. "He was murdered in your old home by your mother. She was overtaken by her ghost ability and killed him," he said. "Will that happen to me?" he asks. Dazai sat down. "No, due to you being trained to use your ability the right way; no, plus you're too stubborn," he said. "Is my mother still alive?" he asks. Dazai sighs. "Yeah, she is in mental intuition, but yes," he said. Dazai wrote down the information and handed it to him. Hiroshi took it and jumped off the table, and looked at Kunikida. "You're coming with me," he said. Kunikida nodded and got in the car, and drove. "Kunikida, I asked you, due to how honest you are will I go crazy like my mother," he asks. Kunikda looks at him. "No, you have two different abilities. Your mother could speak to ghosts and long-dead. Yours is summoning skeletons and talking to the newly dead; you only use one or the other, not both. Your mom used both all the time, which isn't good," he said. Hiroshi sighs and looks. "I can't, Kunikida," he said. Kunikida nodded and pulled out, and drove. "I will take you home," he said. "Thank you," Hiroshi said, looking out the window. "Don't tell Dazai I chickened out; I wouldn't hear the end of it," he said. Kunikida nods. "I won't," he said and dropped him off and went back to the office.
