Kiera's POV(Continued)
“You might want to apply a little bit more caution when dealing with your mother.” The not dead-alive-for-centuries-fishercat’s voice reprimanded from somewhere behind me.
I rolled facing up and fixed him or it with a glare.
“I really don’t want to end up in a loony bin, okay? So just state your business and be gone.”
“How long do you want to live with this strange delusion of yours? Even you acknowledge the holes in your theory, yet you live with the folly idea that you are hallucinating, or god forbid, have an alter ego in the form of Kyros.”
“How the hell did you know all of my thoughts?” He isn’t in my mind too, is he?
He stretched his hind legs at the foot of my bed. “Are you aware that you speak to yourself Kiera?”
Oh. My face flamed but I refused to glance away.
“That’s not important right now. You were about to tell me who you are.” I deflected.
