Startled

Coming out of my car which was

parked in front of the house, I walked towards the door my heart beating as if it is going to tear into million different pieces, I feared mom's wrath, it is evident that the moment she hears what happened, she will jump on her side putting he blames on me, this is more than evident.

Creaking the door open, I entered. The house was quiet, and for the first time in a very long time, it looks kind of strange to me, as if accusing me of some kind of activity that I alone had committed, it blamed me so much that I had to close the dole with a bang and secure it with the knob.

As I swirled around, I met mom's voice, the pat daggers at me. At that moment, I almost passed out.

"Holy cow, mother, you frightened me," I blurted out.

I was still under shock, so I started panting, holding my chest for support.
