"Why would you say that, do you know him?" Maria asked, puzzled.

"Yes, my strength has improved so much in such a short time, all thanks to his help." Jessica said with a smile.

"What, he's the mysterious city lord you spoke of--Alexander?" Maria's eyes widened in shock.

Jessica didn't answer verbally, just nodded in confirmation.

"That's great, then let's go and greet him?"

Maria stood up excitedly, ready to walk over.

"Don't rush, your current identity is the deputy city lord of Winter Spring City. If you show excessive enthusiasm for a person, it will attract a lot of attention." Jessica stopped her and said softly.

Maria frowned, "Isn't it better to get more attention? It will show everyone in Lake City how great the City of Hope is!"
