41 Chapter 40

A/N: Seems like the Roman Empire won for the voting, but for those who recommended names I did see them and some of them were interesting, but the Roman Empire won the vote. But that doesn't mean you won't have a chance another time, since I will probably write another GOT fanfic that will be Kingdom building but completely different from this story.

While the Roman Empire may not be relevant to this world, I will slowly introduce some of it's culture to the people of Essos, and it will take a lot of time until people will accept the culture since nobody wants to abandon the ancient culture of their ancestors.

Being a Roman, Greg will probably say that Roman is all the cultures combined together, this way people will be more accepting of it.

The next day, Greg had announced the establishment of his Empire, which he called the Roman Empire. To many, this was confusing because they didn't know what Roman meant, and it was strange to them.

In Westeros, many Lords were reading the message from the messenger bird with a worried look on their face, while others didn't really care about the matter.

One person who didn't like this at all was King Robert, he had even called for a meeting of the small council.

"Does anybody want to tell me what this is" Said King Robert as he threw the message on the table in anger

"Your grace, it appears that our assassin has failed to assassinate this person before he got too powerful" Said Lord Varys

"Tell me something I don't know" Said Robert, hitting the table with his hand

"I Wanted this person dead before things got out of hand, but now he owns half of the free cities and has a powerful army" Yelled Robert

"Well your grace besides that we have found out that this person is in fact not a Targaryen as you had thought and instead is just a Valyrian descendant" Said Lord Petyr Baelish as he continued

"So we don't have to worry about him attacking Westeros to reclaim the Iron throne, but if he finds out that we were the ones to send that assassin after him, then..." Lord Baelish paused his words before continuing

"Well, we can only hope that it doesn't come to that, since the Kingdom doesn't have the budget to fight against them since they have the Iron bank on their side and I hear that the now Emperor is wealthy already" Said Lord Petyr Baelish referring to how the Kingdom is already millions in debt

Robert was in thought before Renly had spoken up "What about inviting him to Kingslanding as a sign of friendship" Said Renly

Robert looked at him with confusion, "You want to invite him to King's landing" Asked Robert

"Actually, your grace, this would be a good idea since by inviting him to King's landing we show him that we are friendly with him and if he somehow suspects that we are the ones who sent the assassin after him then maybe this meeting will diminish any thought of that" Said Jon Arryn

"That is very wise my lord" Said Petyr Baelish referring to what Jon Arryn said

"Does everybody agree with this" Asked Robert

Everybody nodded before the Grand Maester spoke up, "But we should wait a little before inviting him since he has only just established his Empire, so we should wait until things calm down maybe about 4-5 months" Said Grand Master Pycelle

Everyone nodded and agreed and so did Robert, and now it was decided that in 4-5 months they will invite Greg to King's landing.

Back in Essos Greg had made Lorath his Capital since it was already partially developed, and it was the first city he conquered.

The Wolves that Greg had left in Lorath were glad to see him, since it had been awhile since he returned. The baby dragons for some reason didn't get all defensive against the wolves, so Greg assumed that all of his companions had some sort of connection to him and each other.

He had also received a reward for establishing his Empire

Royal Army (10k soldiers)

The Royal Army were 10k soldiers chosen by Greg, and what that means is that Greg can choose any soldiers from the system to make up the Royal Army.

Greg will hold off on the Royal Army for now while he looks at the Emperor's armor. It was gold with a red cape and red covering over the waist it had engravings on some parts of the armor, and it had white trousers. The armor was really amazing, and it looked very strong.

After receiving the rewards, Greg went to the palace since it was time to establish the religion of the Empire which will follow that of the Valyrian freehold. Other religions will be allowed to be worshiped, but only the religion which worshiped the gods Balerion, Meraxes, Vhagar, and Syrax will hold some power.

After signing the documents, the state religion was now established and this would be the first of many things that will happen since Greg has a lot to do.
