Building A Technological Empire

Henry is a university graduate who happens to be working as a hotel receptionist, though with big dreams of being more than that. All these change for good one day when he finds a way of cracking a very sophisticated technological system, which ultimately empowers him to formulate and develop leading-edge inventions from his bedroom. With a determined mind not only to conquer the market but also to move out of his gray life, Henry starts into his journey of fame by introducing a number of radical technologies that capture the interest of the whole world and hold it.

Chapter 5

Barely 10 o'clock in the morning, Henry finally went home, his arms fully packed with plastic bags full from his nearest Walmart, to which he paid a very selective visit. All his new life was pivoted on rigorous budgeting: every single dollar that came out of his saving account became a treasure which he couldn't afford to waste. The to-and-fro walk from the store was really tiring, a wee bit exhaustive; at the same time, it gave him ample time to think through his plans quite thoroughly for the days to come.

Setting the bags down on the counter with deliberateness, he felt, he began to unpack his purchases carefully and in order, setting the various ingredients and supplies against the meager space provided by his small kitchen. Of course, such was a routine, almost mundane thing it was for so many; yet, it was also one that granted him a deep and comforting sensation, wherein every item set in its specific place gave the feel of a small yet important victory over the tangle and randomness that so much of his life to date had been built upon.

With all of his chores completed that had been assigned to him, Henry grasped two slices of fresh bread, smearing them heavy with creamy peanut butter, making a quick and easy sandwich for himself. Holding securely in his hand his breakfast, he sat comfortably at his workstation where he could focus. His old laptop hummed softly-the dust-clogged fan inside working hard, hardly able to handle the workload.

He had spent the next few minutes scrolling aimlessly through everything available on YouTube: not necessarily to find a paradigm shift but to find inspiration-maybe some skills, concepts, and brilliant ideas he could use for his future business ventures and pursuits. Henry was not going to sell cheats forever. What he was doing now was actually just a stepping stone to his bigger picture. Once his cheat sales got to the point where they were reliably bringing in good money, he would take that money and use it to invest in something much bigger and greater.

Today, YouTube had nothing new to offer, and it wasn't a day of great revelation either. What felt like minutes of useless browsing through video after video finally came to an end when Henry gave a loud grunt, closing the tab and opening up Discord to catch up on his server. His inbox checked, nobody was inside, but right after, his server pinged for notifications. Curiosity luring him in, Henry clicked the server link-and his eyes just stayed glued on the screen, shocked. There were now four new members who joined in along with Dockky.

Genga: @Alphonz It was Dockky who invited us to be here. How do we buy the cheat?

Henry's lips curled a little; impressed or amused, God only knew. The four clients that surrounded him-Genga, Buna, Hyper, and Neo-obviously got their invitation from Dockky himself. And whether they were close friends or just an acquaintance, well, it just didn't matter. The only thing that mattered in this situation was that they were interested customers.

Alphonz: @Genga I'm publishing the website for this project. Should be a couple of hours from now. I will let you know again once all is ready for you.

Genga: Alright, cool.

Henry slumped back in his chair, his heart racing with excitement. He had not even started marketing his work, and along come paying customers lining up. Silently, he said some words of gratitude to Dockky for all his hard work. Surely this unplanned boost of interest got him going, and up and doing the right things in no time.

He had also already taken his time to name the website, which would be origincheats.org. He didn't even take a moment's deliberation to buy the domain off GoDaddy to start working on it straight away. All the skills and knowledge he was able to take away from his system perk, Game Hacking 101, made it weirdly easy and smooth to construct.

Before the implementation of the new system, Henry's experience with web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript had been rudimentary and basic. He is now working with such efficiency, rivaling even that of the most seasoned and highly skilled developer in the field. Later, he uploaded his code via cPanel and created a perfect site in just a few hours, wherein each and every detail of the site was set meticulously and carefully. The site he created wasn't just functional but sleek, intuitive to its users, and safe from vandalizing.

He tested everything meticulously, from the user interface to the payment gateway, which relied on a trusted third-party tool. Every button, every link, every form worked perfectly. Satisfied, Henry returned to Discord.

Alphonz: @Genga I'm done, btw. origincheats.org

Genga: Thanks, boss.

But in a matter of minutes from that moment, Henry's email tab echoed its ping, what meant he got a new message. In excitement and anticipation, he opened the email right away and found what he had been expecting: his very first sale, given that Genga had bought the $10 daily for Call of Duty. Although the sum of money was neither big nor impressive, Henry was not demotivated or anything. It was plausible to assume that Genga was just testing this cheat and wasn't committing to anything more long-term yet, which was quite smart, considering how many scams had been operating within the community of cheaters.

By that time, no other sale had come. Henry knew they were being cautious, and building trust in this particular niche market did not occur overnight. Rather than sit there, brooding over his slow start, he channeled his energies into the further refinement and perfecting of his company.

He slowly opened his coding environment, and the familiar interface stared back as he worked his way on the idea that had been fermenting in his brain for quite a while now-a free trial program for gaining new users. It would be an ultra-pared-down version of his cheat, featuring only one critical feature: a triggerbot, a small program that automatically fires your weapon when the crosshair is perfectly aligned with an enemy. It would be given all the anti-abuse features needed to keep the integrity of the program intact.

The individualistic hardware ID tracking of the user would be tracked and recorded the moment the system gets activated. The intelligent system would track which hardware ID has been used by many such accounts if somebody tries to create a number of different accounts on Discord, claiming multiple trials. This is a pretty strict measure against the manipulation of the free trial offer for anyone's benefit.

In a fit of anger, Henry struck back at working per hour, typing in urgent earnest, fingers flying across the keyboard with determined speed. The air was stale, though there was a ceiling fan spinning at regular intervals above him; as the moment heated up, beads of perspiration began breaking on his brow. He reached for a nearby napkin to clear his face but did not look away, even for such a minor intervention.

Once the program was finally complete and all components were in place, Henry compiled it and made sure everything in the program was working as it should be. Just like the complete version, his cheat software was supposed to go for a number of popular games: Call of Duty, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Valorant, and Overwatch-they wanted to appeal to a wide swath of consumers. Without being as feature-rich or option-heavy as the paid version users could purchase, it still did its job with effectiveness, meeting whatever basic needs people who decided for it may have.

Pleased by that, Henry leaned back in his comfortable chair for a moment, relaxing. He did have a plan in place for sending the trial down to Dockky for full testing sometime in the future. Provided all continued as it was going and went well, this free offering would turn out to be a very sharp marketing tool-a no-risk opportunity to get a feel for the product by all prospective customers.

Henry was finally having a moment's reprieve when another notification came up this time, there were four new emails. He clicked on the Gmail tab with deft fingers, as with each click, he became curious.

Of the four emails he opened, each was to confirm some good news, a sale made whereby Genga's friends ordered the $30 weekly package of Call of Duty, because the daily had pulled through very successfully, thus they were confident in the product.

Henry's heart started racing as he did the math himself in his head: $120 in one day. To a young man who, quite literally, lived paycheck to paycheck, there was no going back.

Price List:

Daily Plans:

$2 - Triggerbot

$5 - ESP & Triggerbot

$10 - Aimbot + above

Weekly Plans:

$20 - ESP & Triggerbot

$25 - Aimbot + above

$30 - Aimbot + above + misc

Monthly Plans:

$40 - ESP & Triggerbot

$50 - Aimbot + above

$60 - Aimbot + above + misc

Universal (All Games):

$80: ESP & Triggerbot

$100: Aimbot + features above

$120: Aimbot + features above + miscellaneous

Henry just stared at the numbers, pride mixed with determination in his gaze. Those were competitive prices, cheaper than most competition, but from what users would get in quality and versatility of the cheat, well, it was a heck of a deal. The amount of supported games will make my cheat even more attractive.

That was just but the very beginning of what was going to be so much more: For certain, Henry sank deeper in his seat, his mind working on all the different steps he was to make; the cheat business now underway was even quicker than he had counted on, and he was determined to make a lot from this now-promising opportunity.
