A large group, totaling 299 people, was organized by him.

-Not that it wasn't possible to organize a large group of 1000 people, but Victoria remembered the jungle counterattack triggered by the previous 100 people, and suggested that William control the number.

But over 90 people seemed too few.

Just the Yikaran Flying Dragons that Victoria saw before her death seemed to be more than this number.

After exceeding 100 people, how many would trigger the next jungle counterattack, 200 or 300, or perhaps 500, there was no intelligence yet, so William decided to take a gamble and gathered 299 people.

All those in the team have bought Pacific Rim, and consciously kept their task cards before throwing nuclear bombs.
