Chapter 744: Consciousness Chip

"What's that? A space rift?"

Super Tomato stared into the pit, taken aback.

At the other ends of the crater, other players began to show up. But upon observing the anomaly at the bottom, they paused in bewilderment.

However, their hesitation lasted merely for a second. These fearless individuals slid down the pitched ledge of the crater and sprinted towards the rift.

Amongst them was William. Not particularly interested in gear, his curiosity for the uncharted consumed him. Swiftly, without giving it a second thought, he started to sprint downhill.

However, William being too hasty lost his footing, slipped and fell. The steep incline of the crater's edge toppled him over. He tumbled down the slope to the crater's base, reaching the edge of the space rift first.

— Face down.

Motionless, he lay on the ground, taking a while to regain his footing.

Even the space rift that had sparked his curiosity a few seconds earlier did not compel him to lift his head.
