The anticipation in their eyes was palpable when Felix mentioned the restaurant. The exterior was stunning, but what about the interior? They were all eager to see what awaited them inside.
"Let's go," Felix said, waving his hand as he held Una in his arms. Trinity and the others quickly followed behind as they climbed the stairs and reached the massive golden door. Felix handed Una to Trinity, took a deep breath, and slowly pushed open the door.
Rumble!
With a loud rumble, the door swung open, revealing a sight that left them all in awe. The interior of the restaurant was extravagant and luxurious. The floor was spacious, adorned with white and black stone tiles that felt comfortable underfoot.
A magnificent crystal chandelier hung from the ceiling, casting a soft glow over the room. White stone pillars added to the elegant atmosphere, while elegantly crafted tables and chairs filled the space.
Large, meticulously crafted white clay pots brimming with exotic flowers adorned the floor of the room.
Adjacent to these elegant displays were expansive French glass windows draped in luxurious velvet curtains.
Positioned a few meters from the entrance was a stunningly designed white stone desk.
Nixie couldn't contain her amazement. "Big bro, this place is beautiful!"
Brixton chimed in with a silly grin, "I'm not convinced this is actually a restaurant."
The others nodded in agreement, marveling at the beauty surrounding them. Even the children were wide-eyed with wonder, their faces filled with stars.
"Wow, this is truly stunning," they all exclaimed in unison.
"Hey, big brother, what's that?" Zephyr asked with curiosity, pointing towards the distance. Felix and the others followed his gaze and saw a large wooden circular platform surrounded by tall wooden pillars that reached up to the ceiling.
"What's that, System?" Felix asked, intrigued.
"That's a wooden mechanism that can lift people to the other floors. In short, it's like an elevator," the System explained.
"Oh, really?" Felix was surprised by the System's response.
"Yeah, it's a wooden mechanism that can carry people to the other floors," Felix explained to the others.
"Wow, this is really useful. I wonder who came up with this idea," Brixton said, nodding in agreement with the others.
"Hey, there's another one over there," Nixie pointed to the side. Felix and the others looked over and saw another wooden elevator in the distance.
"And there's another one there," Trinity pointed.
"Hey, there's another one here too," Gwendolyn added.
"And another one here," Chef Gideon chimed in.
"Oh, big bro, there are a total of four of them," Zephyr observed.
"No, there are five," Felix corrected, pointing towards a slightly larger wooden elevator in the distance behind the white stone desk.
The others were surprised. "According to the size, this thing can carry ten people at the same time," Chef Gideon noted, rubbing his mustache.
"Hey, big bro, how do you work this thing?" Nixie asked, already exploring the wooden elevator with curiosity.
Felix shook his head and joined the others on the platform. He noticed three long wooden handles that looked like levers.
After a moment of thought, a smile spread across his face as he reached out and pulled the second lever.
With a slight and faint creaking noise, the wooden platform slowly rose up.
"Wow, big brother, we're going up!" Delphine clapped her little hands in excitement.
The others also had a faint excitement in their eyes, as they had never seen such an invention before.
"Up, up, up!" Una was also very excited as she waved her little hands while in Felix's arms.
The wooden elevator continued to ascend, and a few moments later, they left the first floor.
After a few minutes, the wooden elevator stopped, and Felix and the others walked out onto the platform. Now they were on the second floor of the restaurant.
The second floor was not much different from the first, just a little more luxurious with fewer tables.
They proceeded to the third floor, and when they arrived, Felix was surprised, as were the others. The third floor was completely different.
There were rooms that could accommodate ten people, all luxuriously decorated with elegant couches and tables. In addition to the rooms, the kitchen was also located on the third floor, along with a huge banquet hall that was luxuriously decorated and also quite large, the size of two basketball courts.
"Guys, you take the children and go to the fourth floor. I'll take Chef Gideon to show him around the kitchen," Felix said to Trinity and the others.
"Big bro, how can we get to the fourth floor? There are only three levers here," Zephyr asked.
Felix thought for a moment before his eyes lit up.
"Go back to the first floor. You'll see the fifth wooden elevator behind the stone desk. I think that elevator leads directly to the fourth," Felix explained.
The others nodded and took the wooden elevator back down to the first floor.
"Chef Gideon, let's go and see the kitchen," Felix said with a smile to Chef Gideon.
Chef Gideon smiled and nodded as Felix led him towards the kitchen at the end of the third floor.
"Mr. Felix, I have to say, you really surprised me. Your restaurant is completely different from any others I've seen," Chef Gideon said, his eyes filled with praise.
Felix chuckled slightly in response.
"I'm sure your restaurant can stand out if you manage it well," Chef Gideon added.
"Yeah, I'll manage it well. With you by my side, I'm confident it won't be long before the restaurant becomes the number one spot in Brigdemoor city," Felix said confidently.
Chef Gideon roared with laughter. "I like your confidence," he said with a smile.
Felix wasn't joking. With his high IQ, modern knowledge, and a 1 Star Spirit Chef like Chef Gideon, he was sure the restaurant would soon rise to the top in Brigdemoor city.
"We're here," Felix said, looking at the light brown door. He wasted no time and pushed it open, entering the kitchen.
Chef Gideon stood at the entrance of the kitchen, a complicated look appeared in his eyes.
"Chef Gideon, are you coming in?" Felix poked his head out of the door, addressing the silent Chef Gideon.
Chef Gideon sighed and shook his head, then smiled at Felix and followed him into the kitchen.
The space was spacious and spotlessly clean, with cupboards and stoves lining the walls, and every tool and equipment a kitchen could need. Chef Gideon stood in the center, feeling lost and overwhelmed.
"You know, I haven't been in a kitchen for the past two decades," Chef Gideon sighed.
Felix sighed in response, Chef Gideon experience was quite pitiful.
"You can familiarize yourself with the kitchen. I'm going to the fourth floor," Felix said as he left the kitchen, leaving Chef Gideon alone in the kitchen.
