Chapter 10 : Never Touch My Family_2

Zephyr and Brixton had blank looks as they gazed at Felix. They had never seen him talk so much, let alone use such shocking words.

"Big bro, don't worry we will also become strong and protect everyone together" Brixton said with a determined expression.

"Yeah, all of us need to get stronger so we can keep everyone safe," Zephyr added, nodding seriously.

Felix's face lit up with a smile. "Good, good."

Felix breathed a sigh of relief deep down.

"Oh, you guys are awake?" a gentle voice sounded from behind them. Turning around, Felix saw Trinity, Gwendolyn, and Nixie walking into the yard, closing the wooden gate behind them and carrying something.

Felix was surprised; he thought he was the first one up, but Trinity, Gwendolyn, and Nixie had already woken up and it seems they have returned from outside.

"Where did you three go?" Felix asked curiously. Zephyr and Brixton stepped forward to take the items from their hands.

"We woke up early to buy some food. Our supplies are running low, so we wanted to stock up," Trinity explained, handing the items to Brixton.

"Oh, I see," Felix nodded in understanding.

"I overheard you guys talking. What were you discussing?" Trinity inquired curiously.

"Oh, it was nothing. Just a casual chat," Felix waved it off.

"Okay," Trinity nodded, not pressing further.

"Big bro, I have exciting news. Do you want to hear it?" Nixie skipped over to Felix with a smile.

"What's the news?" Felix asked.

Zephyr and Brixton also turned their attention to Nixie.

"Well, one of the Smoke Gang members was killed and left in front of their door," Nixie said, excitement shining in her eyes.

"Really? How did one of their members get killed?" Felix looked surprised.

"Yeah, I heard that the Smoke Gang is pretty angry right now, especially their leader," Nixie nodded quickly.

"Did they find out who killed their member?" Felix asked curiously.

"No," Nixie shook her head, "But I heard that the Smoke Gang suspects their rival gang, the Fire Gang."

Felix's lips twitched, "Damn, these guys really have terrible naming sense."

"And why do they think the Fire Gang did it?" He asked.

"I heard that there were provocative words written beside the dead member on their door," Nixie said.

"Currently, both gangs are at odds with each other, the situation is not looking good. I think we better be careful," Gwendolyn said from the side.

"Gwendolyn is right, we can't go out unless it's important before all of this blows over. We don't want to get caught up in their fights," Trinity added.

Felix's eyes flashed with intensity as he looked at Trinity and nodded with a smile.

"Big bro, isn't it great that a member of the Smoke Gang is dead?" Nixie rolled her eyes.

"Why do you say that?" Felix glanced at her.

"Since one of their members is dead, they will be preoccupied with the Fire Gang. " Nixie said.

"So?" Brixton asked with confusion.

Rolling her eyes at Brixton, she said, "So, right now they don't have time to care about us and won't be causing trouble for us."

Felix smiled when he heard Nixie, "Yeah, that's a good thing."

"Okay, from now on, nobody is supposed to walk outside carelessly, especially the children. We can't let the children out, do you understand?" Felix said with a serious face.

"Yes," all of them responded with serious expressions.

"Okay, go and prepare breakfast, I'm really hungry" Felix while rubbing his rumbling stomach.

Trinity nodded and led Gwendolyn and Nixie to start preparing breakfast. Felix glanced at Zephyr and Brixton, who quickly put the things they were carrying into a small storage room.

"Big bro, I think our plan is working," Brixton said, standing beside.

Felix nodded and smirked. "But I think the progress is too slow."

"What do you mean, big bro?" Zephyr asked, looking confused.

"Why don't we add more fuel to the fire and make it stronger?" Felix didn't answer, narrowing his eyes.

Zephyr and Brixton looked at each other, puzzled by Felix's words.

The next morning, Nixie, the mischievous little girl, snuck out and returned, claiming a member of the Fire Gang had been killed and left on their doorstep with a provocative message.

The Fire Gang also believed the Smoke Gang was responsible, leading to escalating fights.

Over the next three days, five members of each gang were killed, with evidence pointing to both sides.

The situation between the two gangs worsened, with small fights every two days and big fights every three days. The people in the slums were too scared to leave their homes, fearing they would get caught in the crossfire.

Felix and the others stayed inside, stocked up on food. Felix, the mastermind behind the chaos, watched all the show from his yard.

Almost every night, he, Zephyr, and Brixton snuck out to carry out their plans.

Brixton and Zephyr even killed a gang member each. Brixton vomitted all his dinner when he killed the gang member while Zephyr was much calmer but the uneasiness in his eyes betrayed his inner turmoil.

In Bridgemoor City at night, the three moons of Sylphendil World hung high in the sky, casting their light on the dark world below.

In the slums of Bridgemoor City, deep within the rundown area, a brutal and bloody fight was taking place between two groups of people.

Bodies of the dead were scattered across the floor, blood spilling everywhere.

The screams and battle cries reverberated through the dark alleys of the slums, especially where two burly men were locked in a fierce fight, exchanging heavy punches with each other.

"Mike, you dare to kill my nephew,today only one of us will walk away from this place alive," growled the burly man with one eye, his face twisted in anger, this man is the leader of the Smoke Gang.

"Damn, you also killed my son. Today, it's either you live or I die," the other burly man cursed fiercely and this man is also the leader of the Fire Gang.

A few meters away from the chaos, Felix, Zephyr, and Brixton stood behind a collapsed wall, observing the brutal fight with calm expressions on their faces.

" Big bro do you think we can finally take them down today ?" Brixton whispered softly to Felix.

Felix nodded," According to my calculations, today will be our chance to get rid of our troubles once and for all ".

Zephyr and Brixton nodded with cold light flashing in their eyes as long as they can protect their family then killing these people is necessary.

" Ahhh Mike you sneaky bastard, you dare to sneak on me " Suddenly a painful roar sounded. Felix immediately looked towards were both leaders were fighting. He saw that the Smoke Gang leader have a dagger stuck to his chest with blood gushing out dying his clothes red.

" He he he who told you to be distracted while fighting me " the Fire Gang leader smiled ferociously.

The Smoke Gang slowly slumped to the ground with wide eyes, the Fire Gang leader slowly walked up to the body of the eye man and started searching his body.

Just then the Smoke Gang leader who was lying on the ground suddenly pulled out the dagger stuck on his chest and stabbed it on the neck of the Fire Gang leader.

The Fire Gang leader looked at the Smoke Gang with incredulity in his eyes as he gripped his neck which blood was gushing out like a fountain, he slowly slumped to the ground,dead.

The Smoke Gang leader had a pale face as he lay on the ground clutching his wounded chest.

Felix who was standing a few meters saw all of this, he wickedly smiled.

" Looks like our chance have come. Let's go " With that Felix walked out from behind the collapsed wall with Zephyr and Brixton following behind.

The Smoke Gang leader who was lying on the ground on his last breath heard faint steps, turning his head in great difficultty he saw three people walking towards him and in a few seconds were standing beside him.

Felix looked at the Smoke Gang leader with coldness and intense killing intent, crotching down Felix gaze deep inside the eye of the Smoke Gang leader.

" No one can never harm my family. In your next life don't offend people you shouldn't have " With that Felix stabbed the one eye man on the chest completely ending his life.

The Smoke Gang leader died with confusion and bewilderment in his eye as he didn't know the person who killed him.

" Finish off the rest of those aren't completely dead try not to leave any evidence behind " Felix looked Zephyr and Brixton and instructed.
