Chapter 12

Two horses entered a prosperous capital . The two suddenly stopped and squinted their eyes at the structure of the capital . The capital has tall neoclassical buildings just like the one in their space but the design is much more simple than theirs . There are also weird shops selling potions , people wearing robes of different colors and is presumably students of magical academy or institute .

They didn't expect that the capital would be this big and crowded . Jameson and Kian went into an inn and handed their horse to be taken care of by the stable boy . The duo's bodies looked stress and weary , clearly tired from their long journey . They don't even have the time to check the space as they heard more informations about the war going on between the two empire turning more intense as time passed by .

From the second floor of the inn . Kian watched carefully at the people on the ground floor passing by carrying baskets , boys passing newspapers , noblemen in a clothe shop wearing fancy dresses and luxury carriages passing by.  The capital is indeed inhabited by peerages and aristocrats . But although the capital may seem prosperous , light and dark had always exist together . Kian don't believe that there's no slums nearby .

" Interesting ... We really had transmigrated into a fantasy world , Jameson . "

Jameson just behind him also nodded seriously as they cautiously looked at the people wearing robes and arrogant expressions .

Along their way to Capital , they had witnessed an ordinary citizen conjuring a small fire out of nothing to lit up their lamp.  Jameson and Kian gad long since felt tempted to kidnap a human who has the capability to wield magic and experiment on them .

But since magic exists , they don't know if there's an equivalent technology of CCTV camera nearby . They don't dare to do anything against them for now . Moreover , they are still new to their body and are not yet accostumed .

" We don't even know their so called magic . How can we learn it? "

The duo's eyes landed on a building far away . The outlines of the academy was vague from their position , but they could feel its formidable aura .

" It's none other than to enter the school . " Jameson said .

" We're still minors and are eligible to enter the school . Although we're married , no one knows our identity . "

They have a lot of stolen silvers and golds within the space . They can still afford to pay the school tuition .

" I really feel unfamiliar with this place full of dangers . It makes me feel somehow excited . " Kian giggled and played his knife through his hands effortlessly before putting it back down on the side desk .

Jameson then spoke . " It's more interesting to join the battlefield . But we're still weak so we have to tread carefully . "

" ... I know " answered Kian .

A young lady wearing yellow dress angrily stepped down from a white carriage embroidered with golden carvings and glared angrily at the alpha knights lining up at front.  " Because of your neglect , my reputation was almost ruined!!! After we go back to the family estate , you'll be recieving your respective punishments . Understood!!!? "

The alphas immediately shouted in response .

Aleah then smiled in satisfaction before staring at the butler standing not too far . " Any information about my savior? "

The butler bit his lower lip and bowed down.  " Unfortunately miss , no one recognized the man who brought you into the Treatment House/ Medicinal Shop . "

Aleah rolled her eyes in annoyance and stump her feet . " You better be quick and get him to me . "

" Yes , my lady . "

Aleah went back to her own room and stared at herself in front of the mirror made of quartz . She touched her face and recalled the cute yet good looking guy who carried her last night . He was so powerful , he can easily carry her from the second floor and steadily stand up after falling while carrying a burden .

She was not completely unconscious back then and has the impulse to be pushed down and opened a random room from the tavern she escaped into . She had been wanting to freely explore the town when they visited the town , but she didn't expect some unscrupulous alphas would harras her . She had never been so humiliated before . Aleah shivered thinking some possible results if she was indeed r*ped. 

That's why she was so grateful to that handsome man who considerately brought her to the treatment house . He was so gentle .

Leah had a dreamy expression upon her countenance as she recall the warmth of his body . When she was embrace and as she leaned her head upon the nook of his neck .

As a noble lady , she had never been in intimate contact with any male throughout all her life. Since that man touched her noble body , he has to take responsibility of it . Even if he's a poor farmer , she can become her knight then promote her to a high ranking noble! That way , her father wouldn't oppose too much .

Leah however was thinking too much . She overestimated her capabilities . Her parents would naturally disagree , unless the man who saved her is a powerful big shot .

Amidst the crowd of people two man walked though the gaps and arrived at the western part  of the capital where the academy was located .

In the office of the headmaster , the middle aged woman with stern expression scrunitized the bodies of the couple and noticed that despite of the black circles around their eyes , their clothings were neat without any speck of dust and wrinkles . Their posture were disciplines and unlike the children who she has met before , they don't even have any details of excitement or anticipation for entering the school .

Miss Paula looked at the information of these two youths , yet most of their life details were unknown . They said they came from the outskirts of the empire and they came here to seek refuge , they also have an interest towards the Muxxins Magic School where most mages study . They don't really have any strict requirements about the enrollments  of the children , especially  in times of war where most teachers were task to train their students to be sent to the frontline , they just had to verify the authenticity that they are the people of Muxxins Northern Empire .

After pondering for a moment , she ring the bell on her right side . A few seconds later , a long haired middle agedd slender man wearing round spectacles entered the office . The man respecfuly bowed down and greeted the headmistress .

" Bring these two little ones to the examination hall and test their aptitudes . " Said Miss Paula and waved her hand .

The man looked at the two young men sitting in front of the headmistress' desk and smiled at them . "follow me"

Kian and Jameson followed the man and exited the office . Once the three left the room , a thoughtful  look appeared on the headmistress' face . " They are mates , so rare for men at their age to have already bonded . "

" Well , i heard that children at the age of 15 in the villages located in the vicinity of the empire marry at a very young age . Which is quite pitiful . " she muttered and patted the blank documents of the two young men and inserted it inside the folder .

Muxxins Magic School is a public school sponsored by the emperor . They discover and train students with talents and potential to become a mage and protector of the empire . It may be said that the school welcomes all kinds of students , even if it is a commoner or a noble , but the tuition fee was really a big amount for any ordinary commoners so there are hardly commoners that can be spotted inside the school . Most of the commoners in the school were usually recommended  by any nobles , others had gone through a harsh examination . As long as his aptitude on magic is high enough , they can enter the academy without paying the tuition fee . Kian and Jameson however paid the tuition fee in order to enroll inside , they even planned to blackmail a nobleman to write a recommendation for them but it seems that they enrolled in a good timing as the emperor unexpectedly ordered the headmistress to train more forces  . The endangered  students were mostly the students who were about to graduate .

When Kian , Jameson and the teacher who is leading them to the examination hall passed by  , they saw the dark circles around the eyes of the students who were wearing purple robes , they are about 18 years old and above , and are probably the students who were about to be sent to frontlines.

" I wish i have learned the invisibility magic before . I would have long since disappeared at this time if i did learned that spell . " said a curly haired man and hit the butt of his staff on the ground with a complaining expression .

One nerdy man laughed wryly and responded.  " We can't escape . "

" Indeed "

Kian and Jameson didn't listen to them anymore as the long haired teacher deviated his direction . The two immediately followed and found themselves in front of a concrete building. 

They entered the building and went to a wide open hall . The hall they entered is probably a private one as they could not see a single student inside . 

The man leading them suddenly paused and turned to face them . He sat down on the chair behind the desk and lifted his face to look at the two youth. He pushed the crystal ball to their direction and said to them . " Put your palm over the surface of the crystal ball in order to asses your magic affinity.  Don't do anything and if ever you feel something , remain still . "

Kian amd Jameson looked at each other . Kian beckoned to him to step forward . Jameson immediately stepped forward to place his hand over the crystal .

Jameson stared at the ball with curiosity . At first , he didn't feel anything but as seconds passed by , he suddenly noticed something and felt a heat covering over his palm . He felt like something is probing on his body making him feel uncomfortable . He wanted to remove his hand but he remembered the man's words and remained unmoving for a while .

Not long after , specks of yellow and purple light suddenly appeared around the area as if it was attracted by the crystal ball . At the same time as Jameson felt a suction force around his body that was trying to attract something around the surroundings , these specks of lights appeared and surrounded him in a blink of an eye . 

The teacher's brows arc up in an interesting expression when he saw how the young man summoned such abundant affinity light which determines the person's affinity to their innate attribute .

Kian looked at the light like fireflies around Jameson and suddenly felt envious . Jameson looked like a fairy elf being surrounded by the aesthetically beautiful fireflies. 

" Alright , that's enough.  "

Jameson immediately withdrew his hand and swing his wrist to remove the tingling sensation . Looking at his forearm , he suddenly realized that he had goosebumps .

" That was a really weird experience . "

" Was it heavy and numbing? " Asked the man and spun his quill pen .

Jameson nodded .

" That's because your affinity to the elements , earth and lightning are strong . That's a really powerful affinity to the elements . I've never seen an elemental mage with an earth and lightning affinity . These elements were already one of the most powerful in the element ranking yet you have both of them . That's absurd . "

A smile surfaced upon the teacher's face thinking to himself that he discovered another force to be sent to the frontline .

So lucky .

It is now Kian's turn . Kian stepped forward and put his palm over the crystal ball . The long haired teacher arc up his brows and looked at the omega with scrunitizing gaze .

An omega and an alpha , looking at the omega's tattoo on the neck . They probably mated already .

Strange couple. , They are still young yet they already bonded . Well , thinking of the outdated culture in the outskirts of the empire , it was no longer strange to see young people giving birth. 

A few seconds later , a sharp mist suddenly arrived in the area and circled around Kian's body .

The man's eyes immediately widened in shock when this domineering energy arrived in shock .

No way!!!

An omega!!! An omega has such type of energy!!!

Absurd!!

The crimson mist circling Kian was intimate and close yet one couldn't ignore the true nature of this energy .

Aura ...

And only powerful alpha knights have this kind of energy .

There are several power systems in the world.  The Muxxins Empire worships a Human Deity that was formerly a human wizard . That's why the Muxxins Empire has a lot of Muxxinians that have a potential to become a powerful wizards .

There hardly any Muxxinians that has the blood of the Wexxin People .

Wexxin Empire , a long lost civilization that created the aura power system for the knights and swordsmasters . They were said to own an aura that has the most potential and probability to evolve into a divinity .

Because of their powerful bloodline , Wexxin Empire gradually declined and only a handful of Aura masters exist in this era .

To meet such existence , Kyle couldn't believe this was happening .

Kian curiously looked at the lively mist circling him and was confused and a bit disappointed. 

He also wants to feel the feeling of being surrounded by light affinity.

Why is my light affinity so restless?

Kian withdraw his hand and puckered his lips in disappointment . " Unfair!!! " He looked aggrievedly at Jameson with eyes full of utter envy. 

Kyle immediately nodded . Really unfair .

Jameson has a complicated expression on his face while Kyle has an envious expression on his face .

Jameson: i feel sorry for my wife

Kyle : i feel so jealous by this omega .

Kian: i also want a light affinity . What's with this hyperactive mist .
