Chapter 196: Hun Tiandi's Grand Plan

"Clan Leader, what's going on?"

Ba Xia looked at Yao Xiao Tian with confusion, seeking an explanation for the unexpected reaction of the others.

Yao Xiao Tian explained, "Ba Xia, you came back a little too late. The Soul Hall has already retreated."

"Oh..." Ba Xia's mind buzzed with realization. So the Soul Hall had already left, and his good news came too late. He felt a mixture of disappointment and joy. 

Disappointment because his good news seemed to have no impact, and joy because the Soul Hall had finally retreated, ensuring the safety of their Nine Serene Ground Python Clan.

"Everyone, you can all leave now! Ba Xia, stay behind," Yao Xiao Tian waved his hand, dismissing the others.

The news of Ba Xia's arrival was good. If the Soul Hall hadn't already retreated and the Soul Clan's strong warriors hadn't arrived, Yao Xiao Tian would have been excited. 

However, with the Soul Clan's presence, he dared not rebel. The Soul Hall was already formidable, and the Soul Clan behind them was even more so. Rebellion would only lead to death, and he wasn't ready to die just yet.

"Yes!" The others left, and the hall quickly emptied.

"Clan Leader!" Ba Xia respectfully addressed Yao Xiao Tian.

Yao Xiao Tian had kept him behind for a reason, and Ba Xia knew there must be something important that the Clan Leader wanted to tell him.

"Tell Huang Tian that we no longer need the support of their Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan," Yao Xiao Tian ordered.

"Yes!" Ba Xia nodded and quickly left the hall to deliver the message.

In their grand hall-

Hun Tu returned.

"Hun Tu, how did it go?" Hun Tu's arrival attracted attention, and Hun Tiandi asked about the situation.

"Clan Leader, the matter has been settled. The Nine Serene Ground Python Clan is willing to give up the Abyssal Snake Mountain Range," Ba Xia reported.

"Hmm," Hun Tiandi nodded slightly, showing no surprise. He had sent Hun Tu to handle this matter, and if he couldn't accomplish the task, then their Seven-Star Dou Sheng would be quite disappointing.

"The Abyssal Snake Mountain Range now belongs to the Soul Clan. The next step depends on Hun Mie Sheng's side," Hun Tiandi said calmly.

Hun Tu raised a question, "Clan Leader, why not annihilate the entire Nine Serene Ground Python Clan? Although it may be a bit troublesome to eliminate all their branches, the Soul Clan has the strength to do so."

Hun Tiandi gazed at Hun Tu and replied, "Hun Tu, your vision is still too limited."

In the past, Hun Tiandi might have agreed to wipe out the Nine Serene Ground Python Clan entirely. However, since obtaining the "Divine Book," his perspective had expanded. 

He now aimed to become more than just a Dou Di. The Divine Book had revealed to him that there were higher realms beyond the Dou Qi continent, even though it seemed unbelievable. His mindset had changed since then.

His grand plan was not limited to becoming a Dou Di; he sought to unify the entire Dou Qi continent under his control. Then, he would lead the continent to conquer other worlds beyond. 

Once he achieved the level of a Dou Di, he would find a way to help more people reach the same level. 

After all, only Dou Dis could leave the Dou Qi continent and explore other worlds. He even considered that the Dou Dis who had left the Dou Qi continent might not have perished, but rather ventured into those vast worlds to further their comprehension.

Hun Tiandi's ambition had expanded significantly. He aimed to unify all the Snake-People under the leadership of Medusa. In his eyes, Medusa would become the Empress of all Snake-People.

For now, he spared the Nine Serene Ground Python Clan, as their vast numbers could potentially serve as a great army in his future conquests of other realms.

"I understand," Hun Tu replied. Although he didn't know why the Clan Leader spoke about such grand plans, he recognized that his own vision was indeed smaller compared to Hun Tiandi's ambitions.

If it were not for this understanding, he would be just an elder. The reason why he was the clan leader was not only because of his powerful strength but also because of his grand vision.

A grand vision and strong power are the essential qualities a clan leader must possess. When the Clan Leader mentioned limited vision, it seemed like nothing was said, but in fact, everything was conveyed.

The key lies in understanding it!

The word limited vision encompasses so much meaning that the wise ones comprehend it without further elaboration. Those who lack understanding may not grasp its depth.

"Hmm!" Hun Tiandi smiled. The Four Demon Saints of the Soul Clan were like his right-hand men. He was very accustomed to relying on them.

Hun Tiandi continued, "You've worked hard during this time. Once I become a Dou Di, I will find a way to help you break through to that level."

Hun Tiandi's words were not empty promises. As a qualified powerful figure and leader, would he need to make empty promises? That would be too small-minded.

Once he becomes a Dou Di, the Soul Clan's Dou Di bloodline will undergo a transformation. 

The strength of the Four Demon Saints, including Hun Tu, will experience significant growth. When he becomes a Dou Di, he will have ways to obtain the essence of Dou Qi and let others reach the level of a Dou Di.

By then, the Four Demon Saints will have a great chance to become Dou Dis and accompany him in conquering other realms and worlds.

Hun Tu understood that Hun Tiandi was not someone who made empty promises. He had been following Hun Tiandi since his weaker days and witnessed him rise from a young warrior to becoming the clan leader and eventually a Nine-Star Dou Sheng pinnacle.

Hun Tu firmly believed in everything Hun Tiandi said. Following the Clan Leader, he knew there would be great rewards.

"Understood!" Hun Tu nodded and said, "I'll start my closed-door cultivation now. When you visit the Tuo She Ancient Emperor's Cave, I'll come out of seclusion."
