Chapter 52: Xiao Yan Meets Little Fairy Doctor!
Walking down the familiar path back to the valley, Xiao Ning felt as though he was stepping into a different world.
The rustling of leaves in the surrounding Warcraft Forest filled the air, grounding him in the present.
His time in the cave with Yun Yun felt like a fleeting, surreal dream.
But now, he was back to reality.
Shaking his head to clear away these lingering thoughts, Xiao Ning looked out at the distant mountains and forests. Under the bright sunlight, everything appeared full of life. The thought of reuniting with the Little Fairy Doctor after such a long time filled him with anticipation.
With a flick of his Ziyun Wings, Xiao Ning soared into the sky, transforming into a streak of light.
His speed was so fast that it startled several bird-like monsters, nearly causing them to tumble from the sky in fright.
Soon, a familiar fog appeared in the distance, and the scenery of the Warcraft Forest rapidly receded behind him. Within a few minutes, the elegant and serene valley came into view.
As Xiao Ning entered the misty valley, he immediately felt the energy in the air thickening.
Taking a deep breath, he felt his spirits lift.
"It's good to be back in a familiar place," he murmured, admiring the valley once more.
Landing softly without a sound, Xiao Ning walked quickly toward the small courtyard, calling out, "Hey, Little Fairy Doctor, I'm back!"
His voice was filled with energy and excitement.
But after shouting for a while, there was no response.
The Little Fairy Doctor was nowhere to be seen, and Xiao Ning began to feel uneasy.
Without hesitation, he rushed forward and pushed open the door to the thatched house.
The interior came into view, but what he saw made his heart sink.
The cups were neatly stacked, and the bed was untouched. The window remained closed, and as Xiao Ning touched the table, he noticed a thin layer of dust.
It looked as though no one had lived here for a while.
"Damn it!" Xiao Ning cursed, clenching his fist in frustration.
He realized that this was his own fault.
When he left the Misty Valley, he had only told the Little Fairy Doctor that he was going to observe a battle.
He hadn't mentioned how long he would be gone. After rescuing Yun Yun and taking care of her, he couldn't return to the valley as quickly as he had planned.
His prolonged absence must have worried the Little Fairy Doctor, leading her to leave in search of him.
"It's my fault for being away for so long, I just hope nothing has happened to you, Little Fairy Doctor."
Determined to find her, Xiao Ning left the misty valley without delay.
He leaped high into the air, his Ziyun Wings spreading wide as he became a streak of light, flying out of the valley.
"She must have left only three or four days ago.
Given the distance she could travel, there are too many possible places she could have gone."
"But one of her likely destinations is near where Yun Yun and the Amethyst Winged Lion King fought."
Despite his anxiety, Xiao Ning kept his wits about him.
After deducing where the Little Fairy Doctor might be headed, he adjusted his flight path, drawing a perfect arc in the sky as he sped towards that area.

**Three Days Earlier**
In the misty valley, the Little Fairy Doctor sat solemnly before a collection of poisons. Without hesitation, she picked one up and swallowed it.
A strange fragrance filled her mouth before the poison turned hot, and then icy cold, spreading throughout her body.
The Little Fairy Doctor frowned, sweat trickling down her smooth forehead.
She gritted her teeth, enduring the intense pain.
After it subsided slightly, she picked up another poisonous herb and swallowed it as well.
As she chewed, she lost track of how many poisons she had consumed.
By now, the amount would have been enough to kill half a town's population.
Yet, the Little Fairy Doctor consumed them all, relying on the Ernan poison body to break down the toxins and convert them into pure Dou Qi, circulating it throughout her body.
Her cultivation advanced rapidly, from an eight-star Dou Zhe to a nine-star Dou Zhe.
Finally, after consuming one last poison, her face took on a faint, multicolored hue.
The pain was so intense that she fainted.
When she awoke more than half an hour later, she noticed a powerful aura emanating from her body.
She had broken through to the realm of Dou Shi!
Under normal circumstances, breaking through to Dou Shi would have filled the Little Fairy Doctor with excitement. She would have celebrated with Xiao Ning. But now, she felt no joy at all.
"Xiao Ning, I will find you," she murmured, determination hardening her resolve.
Without stabilizing her newly gained Dou Shi cultivation, the Little Fairy Doctor prepared several potent poisons capable of affecting even third-level magical beasts.
She stepped into the courtyard and took out a small flute. Playing a melodious tune, she waited. Soon, a blue giant eagle descended from the sky, its wings fluttering.
The Little Fairy Doctor mounted the eagle, casting a deep, longing glance at the small hut she and Xiao Ning had shared.
With a soft pat on the eagle's neck, she whispered, "Xiao Lan, let's go… Let's go find Xiao Ning."

**Present Time - Warcraft Mountains**
In a dense forest, a young man in black robes unleashed a burst of powerful Dou Qi, cracking the ground beneath him. With a swift punch, he struck the magical beast in front of him, shouting, "Eight Extreme Collapse!"
The black bear, three times the size of the young man, was sent flying, tumbling across the ground until it crashed into a large boulder.
The young man, Xiao Yan, focused his gaze, seizing the moment.
Drawing the heavy ruler from his back, he channeled his Dou Qi into it.
An illusory lion formed behind him, roaring with energy.
"Mad Lion Roar!"
With a fierce cry, Xiao Yan swung the heavy ruler. The massive lion charged forward, tearing the magical beast in half.
"Hah!" Xiao Yan exhaled, swallowing a Qi Recovery Pill.
He stepped forward to collect his spoils, but suddenly, a strong wind blew from behind.
Instinctively, Xiao Yan ducked, avoiding the attack.
A fragrant breeze followed, and he heard a cold voice shout:
"Where did you learn this Dou Technique?!"
