Chapter 105: Stealing The Vine

In the valley, there was a great commotion.

The Dou Qi in blue and red surged, with every collision sparking ripples of energy spreading out in all directions.

Vegetation and rocks were torn into pieces, and cracks appeared on the ground.

Two Magic Beasts silently avoided a section of the mountain wall.

On that section of the mountain wall covered in vines, there was a vine surrounded by spiritual energy, with light flowing around it.

At a glance, it didn't seem like something ordinary.

The two fighting Magic Beasts had different appearances.

One Magic Beast was huge, three meters tall and five to six meters long, with a pair of jade-colored horns on its head, dark red skin covered in lava-like patterns.

Every time it stepped on the ground, rings of fire attribute energy spread outward, burning all the vegetation on the ground black.

Its opponent was a Forest Python nearly two meters thick and over ten meters long.

Covered in basin-sized green scales all over its body, with a pair of triangular pupils like green jade gems, emitting a cold and eerie aura.

An angry roar emanated from the throat of the Green Demon Flame Ox, and a scorching pillar of fire crossed tens of meters, shooting towards the mountain wall.

In an instant, the vines were ignited, the flames reaching the sky, illuminating the surroundings as bright as day.

"Damn! This place is no longer safe."

Thrown by the shockwave, Lin Yan rolled on the ground a few times before finally stabilizing his posture. "The Green Wood Celestial Vine! Where did it go?"

His gaze searched anxiously.

In a gap between the vines, Lin Yan found the glowing Green Wood Celestial Vine.

He reached out to grab it, keeping a wary eye on his surroundings.

The Green Demon Flame Ox and the Jade-eyed Python King were already preparing to separate, but it would take them some time to break free.

Lin Yan reached out, feeling a slight impact on his hand.

"My Green Wood Celestial Vine!" Lin Yan watched as the object flew away, feeling a sense of urgency.

As his gaze followed, he saw a unfamiliar figure entering his field of vision.

"Sorry, it's mine now."

Lin Xiu reached out, grabbing it and immediately storing it in his Spatial Ring. Then, he stepped on the breeze, swiftly disappearing into the darkness.

Everything happened very quickly, in the blink of an eye.

When Lin Yan snapped out of it, he couldn't find the figure anymore, and the two Magic Beasts had already separated. He didn't dare to linger.

"So young, and appearing around here, must be from the Academy. Dare to snatch my belongings, just you wait! I'll remember your face!"

Lin Yan felt frustrated but didn't dare to look back. There was a great commotion behind him, indicating that Magic Beasts were chasing him!

On the other side, Lin Xiu dashed out of the First Stage distance, retracting all his Dou Qi into the Yuan aperture, instantly reducing his strength and aura to that of an ordinary person.

Then, he saw the Jade-eyed Python King hesitate for a moment, seeming to contemplate, before ultimately choosing to go towards Lin Yan's direction and charging straight at him.

However, Lin Xiu still followed along.

"In the forest where Magic Beasts roam, there are bound to be some bold ones. If any Magic Beast has designs on the Green Demon Flame Ox, maybe there's still a chance for myself."

Keeping a distance of a hundred meters, Lin Xiu kept his eyes on the Green Demon Flame Ox's movements.
