Chapter 10

Jimin: We're going out.

Y/n: Wait, where?

Jennie: It's just a regular mission.

Y/n: Oh ok. Well I'm going to get changed.

I go up to my room and I get changed. Once I come back down, we all grab our stuff and head out. Tae grabs Jennie and I open my wings. We all fly up and I follow them to a deserted countryside. It seems isolated from the city but we see one house standing in the middle of the field.

Tae: Land here.

We all land and we see a man and woman stumble out. They look to be in their mid 40s but they seem frightened.

Tae: Hello Mark. Hello Sarah. How have you been?

Mark: We know why you are here but we are not ready yet to pay the debt.

Tae: Really? It's been 3 years. Why aren't you?

Sarah: We would like to change what we owe you.

Tae: No can do we already signed the deal. If you don't want to comply, we'll have to take what we were promised by force.

Yoongi: You should know, you shouldn't break your promises with us.

Sarah: W-we can't. We made a mistake. Plz....

Tae: mmmm how about.....no.

Yoongi snaps his fingers and the two fall asleep.

Y/n: Ok anyone care to explain?

Tae: While Jennie is able to see people's forgotten past, Mina was able to grant wishes. This couple had wanted a child.

Jungkook: Tae made a deal with them. If Mina gave them the ability to have a child, they would have to pay him back. If their child turned out to be a boy, they keep him. If it was a girl, she's ours.

Y/n: That's cruel!!

Tae: It was a deal we signed on.

Y/n: Fine whatever. Want me to go get her?

Jimin: I'll go with you.

We walk inside and when we do, Jimin pins me against the wall.

Y/n: W-what are you doing?

Jimin: What Lust always does. Seduce.

Jimin slides his hands up my shirt and I feel paralyzed. I can't move. Maybe this is how Lust does it.

Y/n: Jimin....you know me and Tae....

Jimin: He doesn't need to kn-

Jennie: Yet he knows now.

We see everyone standing in the doorway with Tae looking angrier then I've ever seen him. I slip into a portal beneath my feet and I pop up behind Tae again. Tae rushes to Jimin and slams him into the wall.

Tae: You're bold for making a move.

Jimin: Can you blame me?

Tae: By making a move towards Pride's girl? Yes, I very much can.

Jimin: Maybe she liked it-

Tae slams into the wall once again but suddenly the wall starts cracking. But Tae doesnt notice.

Namjoon: Uh tae-

Tae: Shut it! I'm dealing with someone.

He punches his hand into the wall and that triggers it. The house starts shaking and Tae snaps out of it.

Jin: It's going to collapse!

I start trying to create beams to hold the house up but it doesnt work.

Jungkook: Hurry open your wings!

Y/n: Wait the baby!

I start running to the bedroom and I hear people calling after me.

Jungkook: Wait no! Y/n!

I find the baby in her crib and I open my wings shielding us. I feel weight collapse onto us and we get covered.

Jungkook's POV

When everything comes to a silence, I realize that we are covered. I hear police and fire station sirens. Shoot. If they see us like this.

Firefighter: Is everyone ok! Can anyone hear us?

Me, not having much weight on me, I slowly stand up and I hear everyone gasp.

Policeman: You- You're-

Jungkook: I know what I am. Now help me get the others out.

Jimin: Hey! Is anyone there!

I hear Jimin's voice under some rubble and I help him out.

After a while, we get everyone out besides Y/n and the baby.

Mark: OUR BABY!

Tae: Shut up you idiot!

Sarah: Our baby is dead under there!

Tae: No she's not. Now calm down. Y/N! CAN YOU HEAR US! WHERE ARE YOU!

Y/n: I-I'm over here!

We hear her voice under a big pile of ruins. We all rush over and we start trying to lift a heavy pole that had crashed on top.

Y/n: H-hurry! We are running o-out of air.

Jennie: Hold on! Namjoon, we have to melt this thing.

Namjoon: What about Y/n and the baby underneath!? I might burn them!

Jungkook: Take a deep breath and go deeper underneath if you can y/n. Namjoon hyung is gonna light this thing up.

Y/n: OK I'm r-re.....

Tae: SHIT! SHE'S NOT GETTING ANY AIR. JUST DO IT NAMJOON!

Namjoon hyung suddenly starts lighting everything up and suddenly, its doused by water.

Jin: It's Y/n! She's creating water in there!

Jimin opens his wings and start clearing dust and light objects out of the way. We see Y/n through the cracks but its too small to get her out.

Y/n: Here! Take the baby first! I need more room to work with.

Jimin takes the baby.

Y/n: Ok Namjoon. I'm going to flood the inside of this place. The water should push out enough room for me.

Namjoon: whenever you're ready.

Suddenly, water starts flowing out and its pushes out the rocks and wood. Soon, enough space is created.

Y/n: Ok I have to dive in now.

Tae: Take a deep breath and swim out.

Y/n submerges but after a few seconds, there's no sign of her.

Tae: Where the hell is she?

Yoongi: There's no air for her to come up to. And god damn it, Mina was the only one with X-ray vision.

Jennie: Actually....I do too....I'm still working on it tho.

Tae: Just try Jennie.

Jennie closes her eyes and when she opens them, they are completely black. When she snaps out of it, she collapses.

Jimin: What did you see?

Jennie: Her wing is stuck. Under that rock over there. She's passed out.

Tae: Jungkook, help me move the rock.

Once we lift the rock, Y/n slips out.

Tae: No no no no no. She's unconscious.

Y/n? Can you hear me?

Y/n starts coughing up water and Tae's pulls her close to his chest.

Tae: Good job baby. It's alright now.

Tae picks her up and I carry a very tired Jennie.

Jungkook: Jennie's out cold too.

When we walk up to Mark and Sarah, Jimin tries handing them the baby.

Mark: N-no we don't want to say goodbye. We'll get to attached....

Tae: Keep her. You should be thankful my girlfriend risked her life to save that baby and luckily, its still alive. Whatever you do with her now, if your problem.

Police: Sir you will have to come with us. You need to pay the debt of the house you destroyed.

Tae: Well I'm glad you're worried about us. We-

Y/n suddenly creates an envelope and throws it at the cop.

Y/n: Take the money and leave us alone.

The officer gives us a weird look.

Jungkook: You heard her. That's a million dollars in there. That should be enough.

We take off and head back to the mansion. Once we head in, we all sit down.

Tae: Well wasn't that a long day?

Yoongi: Tell me about it.

Tae: I'm not done with you Jimin.

Jimin: Yea sorry...

Tae: I'll deal with you another day though. For now, we all need a break.
