27 Chapter 3.8 - SINGLE?

We both split the bill and call the waiter to our table...

"Are you ready?" the waiter asks

"Yes" I answer while giving him the check, but as he takes it from me, he looks at me with a smile that brings butterflies into my stomach...

"Thank you," he says

But as he's about to walk away, he stops and turns back to me...

He looks me in the eye with that same smile and asks "Are you single?"

"Ummm..." I quickly turn to jungkook, but he shows an expression that I can't place...

"Oh, are you two dating?" the waiter asks

unexpectedly Jungkook says "no, we're not"

Instantly I become hurt by those words but I didn't want it to show, so I say, "Yes, I'm single" with the fakest smile I could do.

"So can I get your number?"

"Sure"

He takes his phone out of his pocket and I write my number into it. Meanwhile, Jungkook didn't even say a word...

After I finish putting my number, I give him his phone back and he says, "I'm Bogum by the way"

"Oh, I-i'm Taehyung" I respond

"I got to get back to work, but I will call you"

"O-okay"

He leaves and I look at Jungkook, but he doesn't say anything, he just gets up and starts walking, so I follow him...
