BRYANAYA 3

"Why in this world there are guys as annoying as him, anyway?"

Kanaya couldn't stop cursing the man who met her earlier, just wearing a tie but her character was like that. Kanaya really hopes that later she will never meet the man again, especially the woman who can only take refuge in her boyfriend.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Hearing a knock on the door, Kanaya took a shaky breath, she lazily got up and opened the door to her room to reveal the figure of a middle-aged woman in her home clothes.

Kanaya looked at her mother questioningly, while the one who was being stared at raised her eyebrows. "Why are you looking at Mom like that?"

"Mom, what's going on in Naya's room?" instead of answering, Kanaya gave her mother a question back—Eva.

Eva chuckled lazily when her daughter even asked her, even though she knew very well that her daughter would know the reason she came here. His hand rose and rested on his waist, his eyes turning slightly sharp.

This made Kanaya scratch the nape of her neck that didn't itch, now she understands when she sees her mother's different reaction. It must have been all because of her groceries being stored in any direction, even now Kanaya herself forgot where she had put them.

"Do you know now?"

Kanaya slowly nodded her head with her trademark grin, as if she didn't feel guilty. "Later Na-"

The woman shook her head firmly. "Not later! Now!"

Kanaya lazily nodded her head, her hand reached out to close the door to her room and then walked down the mound of stairs with her mother in front of her.

At least he was grateful that his mother didn't nag, just spoke a few words to him. Instead of nagging, it made his ears heat up.

"See, look! All the groceries in the crackle bag are a mess, Naya! If you didn't keep the crackle anywhere, it wouldn't be like this!" Eva pointed at the scattered groceries, out of the white plastic bag.

Just now Kanaya was grateful that her mother didn't scold her, but now her mother seemed to know that she was giving thanks in her heart. So that his mother issued pearls of wisdom.

"Yes. Sorry, Ma," Kanaya squatted down and tidied up the groceries then put them in a crackle bag and took them to the kitchen.

"Smart, it has to be like that. What if you're already married? It's impossible for your husband to tidy it up, right?"

Hearing that made Kanaya roll her eyes lazily, her mother was thinking too much. Even though he had just been in college, his mother had already discussed marriage, household, husband and all her nitty-gritty.

"Did you hear Mama?"

"Listen, Mom..."

Eva sighed and then walked away from her daughter who was busy putting the groceries into the place where she saw most of her daughter's favorite snacks.

Kanaya looked around the kitchen, she couldn't find her housemaid. Slowly the girl stood up and left the refrigerator open, Kanaya walked towards the backyard of this house to look for her housemaid.

"Bi!" Kanaya called when she saw a middle-aged woman pulling weeds.

Feeling called, the middle-aged woman immediately turned and approached the child of her employer. "Yes, Non? Is there anything Auntie can help?"

"Bi, later, please clean up the groceries in front of the fridge, okay?"

Bi Inem nodded obediently. "Ready, No."

"Thank you, Bi."

"It's okay, Non."

Kanaya turned around and breathed a sigh of relief, she didn't have to bother tidying up her groceries anymore because she had left everything to Bi Inem. Kanaya returned to her room without the knowledge of her mother who luckily was very busy with her cellphone.

She closed the door to her room and threw herself back onto the bed. Kanaya fumbled on her bed to find her cellphone, after finding the flat object, Kanaya immediately opened it and looked for the latest information about the dance competition she was going to participate in.

His finger clicked on one of the Instagram accounts which had several other accounts with the same name on it. Seeing a new story from the account made Kanaya click on it immediately.

Instantly Kanaya immediately woke up from her sleeping position with her eyes wide when she saw her cellphone screen which displayed the story from the dance competition account, which was just posted a few minutes ago.

Kanaya seems to want to sue the party who organized this dance competition to the authorities, because the registration has just closed before the date specified on the poster.

"Why can they do this when I haven't signed up yet?" grumbled the girl irritably.

The efforts he had made this morning to fulfill the requirements that had been given by them immediately became in vain, he was tired of having to exercise desperately so that he could lose weight.

"AAAHHHHH, SO FUCKING!"

This is the first time he has been treated like this, usually whatever and wherever the dance competition is held, Kanaya will always participate. Kanaya turned when she saw the door to her room was open.

"Why are you shouting, Naya? Then when are you in the room again? Weren't you cleaning up your groceries?"

Kanaya rolled her eyes and grinned widely. "It's the same with Bi Inem, Ma," the girl scratched the back of her neck that didn't itch.

Eva chuckles while shaking her head, she really doesn't need to be surprised anymore by Kanaya's lazy attitude but she also sometimes suddenly wonders why Kanaya has such a lazy attitude.

"Then why are you screaming?"

Questions like that that came from her mother made Kanaya scowl in disgust. "Mom, Mama knows that Kanaya really wants to join a dance competition."

Eva cleared her throat slowly, nodding her head. "So how's the progress now?"

Kanaya stomped her foot. "Eating from it, the registration was suddenly closed, Ma..." the girl's face was really pitiful looking at her mother.

"Well, now you just focus on studying, okay? After all, there will also be other dance competitions that you can participate in."

It was true what her mother said, but still Kanaya felt that she had failed. It was as if he had lost for the first time to make him sad like this.

Because just so you know, every dance competition that Kanaya participates in, the girl will always win—yes, even though she doesn't always win first, but at least she's always in the top three and that makes Kanaya even more excited to take part in other upcoming dance competitions.

"Well, don't be sad anymore! Later tonight Papa comes home and he says he wants to take us out to eat, you know..."

Kanaya's eyes immediately lit up when she heard that her father would be home soon and invited her and her mother to eat out. His hand held the arm of the woman in front of him.

"Are you serious?!"

"Why did you lie, hm?"

"YEAYYY! Daddy's home!"
