Chapter 51

Although Becky had already been rejected once yesterday, she came to deliver Elizabeth's food again today. Elizabeth was amused by Becky's persistence in being a good person.

However, Elizabeth did not want to expose Becky or even talk to her.

"Elizabeth, after you had a serious illness, your body must have been weak. I boiled soup today. Don't you really want to drink some?"

Elizabeth rested her chin on her fingers and looked at Becky in front of her with leisure.

There was obviously no outsider there, but Becky still pretended to be decent. Elizabeth wondered if Becky would be tired of being pretentious.

Elizabeth simply put down the pen that was spinning in her hand and looked at Becky leisurely.

"Aren't you tired?"

Elizabeth was asking Becky if she was tired of being pretentious.
