Speaking of Max, Elizabeth recalled the scene she saw outside the bar last night.

She knew Max's whereabout.

He was taken home by Becky.

As for what happened between them last night, Elizabeth felt that she didn't even have to guess it.

She was very upset, but she couldn't show anything in front of Madam Hart, so she could only make an excuse for Max that would not be easy to see through.

"He stayed up late last night and didn't get up today."

After saying that, Elizabeth suddenly realized that what she said was true. Max had indeed stayed up all night, but no one knew what he did during that time.

When Madam Hart heard that, she said helplessly, "How could he still stay up late at this age?"

Elizabeth smiled and didn't say anything.

Seeing her good temper, Madam Hart sighed, "You are the only one who can tolerate his temper."

"That's exaggerated," Elizabeth said in a low voice.
