Breakfast

Aurel and Emilia arrived at the throne room doors.

Emilia nodded to the guards who were standing near the door handle, waiting for Emilia's signal.

The guards opened the door, and Aurel saw the same room he saw yesterday.

"It's as beautiful as it was yesterday" Aurel said as he scanned the whole room.

Emilia slightly smiled and looked at Aurel and said "Young Master, follow me this way"

"Oh, sorry" Aurel apologized while scratching his head.

Aurel followed Emilia towards the long table where they could see Aurora, Ariya, Alyssia, and Aliza patiently waiting.

Aurel sat down next to Alyssia on a chair that was raised higher than the others, then nodded at everyone and said in a soft tone "Good morning"

Everyone said in unison as if they practiced it thousands of times "Good Morning"

Aurora looked at Aurel and asked, "Did you sleep well, Aurel?"

Aurel nodded his head and his eyes lit up with happiness, "Yes, Master. I don't remember the last time I've slept that well" Aurel said.

"I see. I'm glad you liked it and I hope you'll like the food even more" Aurora chuckled.

Aurel's eyes sparkled when he heard that they were going to eat food. He hasn't had a decent meal at all since his time in this world. It was always hard bread with water.

But something confused Aurel, so he asked, "We're going to eat food? I thought Vampire's only drink blood?"

Everyone at the table sighed, while Aurora explained to Aurel, "While it's true that we Vampires need blood to survive, Noble Vampires like us can also survive on food as well. Plebian Vampires can only drink blood as food disgust them"

"Oh...Uh, What's a "Plebian Vampire"?" Aurel asked another question. He doesn't know much about vampires because they were all myths on Earth and rarely read up on them in fantasy novels.

Aurora smiled and said "Plebian Vampires are born humans who were later turned into a Vampire"

But that confused Aurel even more, so he asked Jasmine in his inner thoughts, 'Jasmine, I was born a human into this world but later turned into a vampire. Why am I not a plebian vampire, but a noble?'

["That's because Master has been turned by a progenitor Vampire and has the Royal bloodline coursing inside you. Not only are you very different from plebian vampires, but noble ones as well. Usually, if a Vampire wants to turn a human into a vampire, the vampire has to be a noble and do a ritual to turn the human into a plebian vampire. It's a Master-Servant pact"]

'Oh I see. Thank you, Jasmine' Aurel said to Jasmine.

["Hehe~ You can thank me more if you want"] Jasmine said, making Aurel roll his eyes.

"Aurel" Aurora said, drawing Aurel's attention to her.

"Today, after breakfast, you'll be starting your training. It's going to be very intense, so make sure you're prepared for it" Aurora said in a serious tone.

"Y-Yes, Master"

["I wonder what the "intense" part of the training's about?"] Jasmine giggled, as she joked.

'Jasmine, could you wait until we're alone to say your perverted jokes?' Aurel "nicely" asked Jasmine.

["Yes, yes"] Jasmine agreed.

After a few minutes of waiting, the food was brought out by maids and butlers and served to the Arabella's.

Aurel had a plate of meat with something that resembled rice. To his side were a bowl of soup and a red liquid in a glass.

'Wine? No, blood' Aurel thought as he sniffed the drink.

Aurel was a little uncomfortable drinking blood since yesterday he was still a human.

Aurora, noticing this, said "I understand that you may feel uncomfortable, however, if you try it, you'll find that it'll taste better than any other beverage you had before" Aurora insisted.

'What the hell, I'm already a Vampire. I should get used to these things' Aurel reassured himself and took a sip of the glass full of blood

'!' Aurel jumped from the sudden notification. He was very shocked that drinking this blood caused him to level up to level 2.

Sensing Aurel's emotions, Jasmine explained to Aurel, ["Master, Since you're a vampire, the system adjusted itself to fit your needs as a vampire. So when drinking high-quality blood, making pacts, or any action related to vampires, you'll receive EXP"]

'Oh, is that so? That's very convenient' Aurel thought.

["Fufu~ That is the purpose of the system, is it not?"] Jasmine laughed.

'Indeed' Aurel chuckled, thinking what he thought was obvious.

"How is it?" Aurora asked, hoping Aurel had a positive reaction

Aurel's reaction brightened and nodded "This is amazing..." Aurel said, but thought about the quest from earlier, and continued in a soft tone "...But not as amazing as you"

"Ara? Why thank you, Fufu~" Aurora laughed as she didn't expect Aurel to say that.

Everyone else in the room was shocked by Aurel's comment, especially the daughters. They didn't expect Aurel to flirt with Aurora but were even more surprised that Aurora laughed and accepted the compliment. She detested men, so it was surprising that she would be relaxed at Aurel's comment, even if he was a "child".

["Oh? That was smooth, Master"]

'You think so? I thought that was cringe. I need to practice, I feel awkward doing it' Aurel said to Jasmine in his thoughts.

["Don't worry, Master. You'll have your physical training with Aurora, while I train you in the arts of romance. You'll have a huge harem by the time I'm done with you, Fufu~"] Jasmine giggled but was very serious.

'Just go easy on me, please' Aurel pleaded.

["Sorry, No can do. I take my job very~ seriously"] Jasmine said in a seductive, yet suspicious tone.

Aurel glanced at the screen that suddenly appeared in front of him.

He was glad that he's received a new skill, whatever it may be. The increase in Intelligence and Charm was a nice bonus too.

'Jasmine, what do each of the attributes do?' Aurel asked.

["I could tell you now, Master. However, I suggest waiting until we're in private because at the moment, we're in public, surrounded by people"] Jasmine suggested.

'You're right' Aurel agreed, Jasmine made sense.

Aurel started eating his breakfast, he started eating the meat and it tasted similar to chicken, however, this is way better than the ones on Earth.

Aurel turned his head and asked, "Why does this chicken taste so good?"

"It's because this "chicken" was from a Tier-3 Cockatrice" Alyssia explained while sounding a little proud. Alyssia is an aloof person, so it was unexpected to hear an answer from her.

Aurora giggled and said "This cockatrice was killed by Alyssia when she led a platoon of our army"

Aurel looked at Alyssia with wide eyes. He knew what cockatrices were based on some fantasy novels he'd read when he was on Earth, even if it was little.

"Wow, you're also amazing! You led an army to defeat that huge monster?" Aurel exclaimed.

Alyssia blushed and huffed "H-Hmph! I-I didn't need a platoon to take down that stupid bird"

Everyone at the table chuckled, while Aurel was genuinely amazed.

If it was Aurora, he could see, but Aurora's daughters were also strong shocked Aurel.

Aurel pushed his amazement to the back of his head and continued to eat his food.

After finishing his meat, soup, and drink, he followed Aurora to the training grounds, accompanied by Aurora's daughters and Emilia.
