Broken Vows

I'm walking to the million-dollar mansion I said with my wonderful husband I was planning on cooking and nice romantic dinner for two of us as a way to show him how much I love them before I told him I was pregnant and two weeks to I put the groceries I had picked up earlier in the kitchen and went off into a bedroom to change into something more comfortable when I was done changing I walked into the kitchen to start dinner in an hour and a half later the table was weed with noodles roasted chicken and potato salad not to mention the room was lit with Rose scented candles. I had a sound of my husband's Porsche drive into our garage as well my hearts couldn't stop pounding and My fingers got all sweaty I waited for him to open the door then I threw my arms around him he didn't hug me back or kiss me as usual something was way off but maybe he was just tired

"welcome home honey"

"I said get your filthy hands off me" he replied in an angry voice I stepped back surprised and asked him what maybe I didn't hear him right he look me up and down as he scrunched up his nose in disgust and I said

"look if you're frustrated or something don't take it out on me that's not why I married to you"

"oh I know why you married me alright wasn't it because of the endless shopping spree expensive jewelry and luxurious" he asked me

"how can you say that? you know I married you because I loved you"

"I can't pretend this is a happy marriage and more" he said "it has always been the happy marriage and you know it" I said back confused about what was going on

"you know what let's end it what do you mean let's end it I asked how much more stupid can you get how did you even make ii through college?"

"I'm getting tired of your insults, why are you talking like this?"

"I want a divorce why why would you want a divorce why because you are a low class woman with little Elegance and grace. you embarrass me you are so clumsy and childish all my friends have mature elegant and graceful wives who don't put their names to shame in public!"

"I embarrass you yes all the time? I can't believe you Jacob - I can't believe I ever loved you God I hate you so much I hate you!"

"come by at 3 tomorrow to sign the divorce papers and to finalize everything" he told me ignoring the fact that I was hurt and kept telling him I hated him at the moment I tend to him see thing and said I hate you never forget that I said and walked out of the room I picked up my phone and walked out the front door making sure to slammers behind me as I walked away

I work for about an hour before I gots my best friend's apartment David was my best friend he was a doctor and a childhood friend you met the day our parents took us to the park leaving I had been very cool since then I rang the doorbell and waited for him to open the door he opened it directly questioned me why I didn't call him once he looked at me he realised something was wrong and he confronted me about it I couldn't speak and couldn't help myself and I let out sob which then lead to a full-on cry. "What happened or why- why are you crying? don't tell me he doesn't want the baby"

"no I didn't tell him he didn't even give me a chance to tell him what happened tell me everything today I was going to tell him the news I prepared dinner and all and when he came home he didn't how you kiss me and when I hugged him he told me to get to get my filthy body away from him" I said and tried harder in his arms "he said that?!" David asked which "yes I first I thought maybe he was just tired and frustrated then I told him not to take it out on me because that was in the reason we got married and he told me I married him because of his money"

"that son of a b****!" David classed as he pulled me closer to him. He ran his hand through my hair and rub my back to calm me down. I continued to tell him what had gone on between us

"I told him I married him because I loved him he said he couldn't pretend we had a happy marriage anymore but we always start a happy marriage then he said I was stupid and and he wanted a divorce a divorce what why because I embarrassed him all the time leave and I'm no close to is that what he's told you yet I told him I hated him David, but I love him so much that it hurts"

"I know - I know. When are you going to sign the papers?" David asked standing up to get me hot chocolate

"I'll go to his office at 3 tomorrow but I can't see somebody's I really can't take it"

"I'm sorry about everything babe but you can't let that household destroy your life did you lose all your self-confidence after getting married to him you're always overconfidence Laura so sure of yourself that made you untouchable be like your old self again tomorrow and you have him regretting everything he said to you"

"I know so tomorrow you're going to go to this office with a makeover makeover that will bring back your bad ass attitude ok yeah thanks and can I spend the night here do you even have to ask thanks for everything to your speed if I love you I love you too babe go get some sleep."
