Chapter 3

'Hey Dra.. are you alright?' Libetha noticed the restless Sandra who had just entered the room. She locked the door and pushed her back against it. She was probably letting out the heaviest breaths of her life up to then.

     'Sandra what happened?' Jane stood up from the bed. Sandra slowly sat down on the floor rubbing her back against the door on the way .

She stared at them; she was quite cross at them for not taking a look at the list beforehand.

     'Sandra', Libetha could not say anything more when she saw her eyes were getting red and there was already a mark of dried tear on her face. Sandra looked at her and exhaled heavily with helpless looking eyes. Jane was going to get her some water when she saw the guest list on the table. She saw it; Jungkook was the Chairman for their Alumni and was funding a huge amount to it. She kept the glass of water down and took the list to Libetha.

     They saw it and checked it again and again; they looked at each other and then at Sandra. Libetha felt like tearing up upon seeing her friend like this. She quickly hugged her and so did Jane.

Sandra was still in a shock. It was unexpected for her. She was not able to figure out what she should do.

     Jungkook still did not move from his place with the excuse of the manager bringing him the keys to his suite. But he turned to look at Jimin; the person who used to be his best buddy once.

     Jimin did not say anything. He just let out a sigh and walked past him towards the lift. In fact he could not even find the right words to speak even though he actually wanted to. This is because he was one of those six people who had been through that night five years ago.

 That one night which changed them for the rest of their life

                   FIVE YEARS BACK....

It was in this same city that they were taking a little trip of their own. They cottage they had booked that time is actually some kilometres away from the beach resort they were staying for their reunion programme.

     'Okay so since we have talked about this and we know we coukld get only three rooms, here's what we will do', Libetha instructed as soon as they reached the cottage.

     Jane cut her in between and continued the rest of their room planning, 'Sandra and Jungkook will be in one room. so let's leave them alone. As for me and Libetha, we will be sharing one room and Jimin....', she snickered teasingly, 'seems like you and Kai will have to stick together.'

 A low laughter took over the moment. Jimin did not really feel happy for the fact that Jungkook was not going to be there with him at night like he always does. On the other hand, Jane was whining slowly because she did not get to stay with Kai for the night. But she immediately stopped when it hit her that Jimin and Libetha would naturally feel uncomfortable to share one room without having any relations between them.

     They all headed to their respective rooms to rest for the night. None of them agreed to go out for the night after the long tiring journey.

Sandra came out of the washroom, wiping her face and stood in front pf the dressing mirror. She was putting on her night cream when she saw Jungkook in the mirror looking at her.

     She turned around and looked at him crossing her arms.

'Why have you been ignoring me the whole journey, huh?' he demanded.

She did not answer and turned back to the mirror to continue what she was doing.She giggled lightly and he noticed that.

 'Trynna play with me... well bad move you little one', he turned her around and pulled her closer to him, not leaving a single inch gap between their bodies. Tightening his grip on her waist, he brought his lips closer to her right ear and whispered, 'Let's just hope the others get a peaceful sleep tonight unlike you..'

     It was at about midnight when a sharp scream was heard. It was of a girl. Everyone went out to check what had happened. Sandra woke up ans saw that Jungkook was by her side. She thought he might have woken up earlier and akready went out to see. She put on her clothes and went out as well.

     She found him in the backyard with the others beside the campfire site. In the middle of the crowd one of the receptionists was lying on the ground. Her hair was a mess and her clothes were torn at places. She had several bruises here and there and was half unconscious.

     It was clear she was raped.
