Let's have a family dinner?

David opened his eyes and was met with Emma's playful actions. At that moment, he felt a surge of love for her in his heart.

He smiled lightly, appreciating her childishness.

"Come on man, get up!", Emma yelled at him.

David stood, kissed Emma's forehead, and headed back to the office without looking back.

Emma's heart raced, and her cheeks flushed.

So, he stayed just because he forgot to kiss me.

I am not falling for him.

Emma tried to resist the warmth she felt for David, but it seemed to persist.

She proceeded to change her clothes and joined the maids for breakfast.

After finishing her meal, she returned to her room to grab her phone.

To her surprise, she realized she had forgotten to read the letter she received from her mother-in-law.

She opened it and read:

My dear daughter-in-law,

I hope you are doing well and taking good care of my son. Your uncle and I miss you both dearly. Let's have a family dinner someday.

Your Aunt.

Realizing that it was time to meet her in-laws, Emma carefully placed the letter in her cabinet and made her way toward the house exit.

I have so much work to do today!

As she reached the parking lot, she noticed a man in a driver's uniform whom she had never seen before.

I wonder who he is!

" Madam I am here as your new driver", the man introduced himself.

He appeared to be in his late thirties and carried an air of respectability, but Emma knew better than to judge someone solely on appearances.

"Okay", Emma replied. Accepting the fact that David must have arranged for a new driver.

She settled into her car, shared the address with the driver, and the car smoothly started it's journey.

Emma gazed out of the window, finding a peculiar sense of peace in travelling.

She wished that the car would never have to stop, simply allowing her to go with the flow.

Her mind wandered to a childhood memory of returning home after enjoying a late night ice cream treat with her parents.

She couldn't help but let out a small chuckle.
