1. NEW SHINE
"Get up Rosiette otherwise you'll be late for the first day". mother cried from the kitchen. I hurriedly threw my bedsheet aside took a quick shower and wore dark blue denim with yellow sleeveless crop top, leaving my curly hairs open which lands just below my shoulders. Having a hour-glass figure with 5'1 height and fair complexion is just a blessing to my fashion obsessed self. I wore light makeup and rushed towards the breakfast table greeted my father and mother and left for the university. As it was just at a walking distance I didn't needed any transport but I was running very fast.
As I reached to the class Mrs. Shein had already started the lecture. I asked in lowest tone " can I get in ma'am ?" Mrs. Shein looked at me with irritated face and said " YES get in". I saw krystal my bestfriend sitting on the first bench writting notes seriously she's a good student and also amazing friend . she was wearing black jeans and full hand red top her hairs tied in a ponytail coming till her waist she had a model personality with wheathish complexion and height 5'8. I sat beside her she gave me an annoyed look and said " Rose you promised you can't be late on first day". " I know I promised but krys no matter how mush i try i can never be on time" we giggled and resumed writting notes. As the lecture was over we went to student locker to keep our stuff and saw many new faces who were trying to find their way, some old faces catching up about summer stories some bragging about their exotic holiday trips. Apart from this I and Krystal were standing near are locker. Krys is an introvert type of person, she wasn't shy but loved to be mysterious and I was a highly extrovert person always surrounded by people and centre of attention of my college not just I was beautiful but my kind, generous and talkative nature attracts people towards me.
As I was talking to krys some girls approached towards us "hey! I am syndra." one said " hii! myself destiny." both having long hairs slim body and dusky complexion "hey! myself Rosiette and she is krystal." "nice to meet you actually we joined today so would you please tell us where's the canteen." syndra asked "sure even we are heading over there come join us." I said to which krys nodded. We entered the canteen which was almost crowded we managed to get seated near the window at the corner. "what would you like to have" I asked three of them and went to place the order "Hiiii! uncle Jacob" I exclaimed as he turned to write the order. "Good morning my child so good to see you" "even I missed you especially my meal." we started laughing after this I placed order "and for me .." uncle interpreted "red chilly chease toast with white mocha coffe and donuts." "perfect" I giggled I took the order and returned to our seat " here is your meal madam." I said putting down the plates. While talking to the girls I came to know they were from same locality and studied in nearby college and shifted hear for higher studies. " We should hangout this evening I know the best bar here." destiny said with cheerful voice everyone nodded " sorry, guys but i won't be able to come i have my dance class in evening." i said with sad face " skip it for today ." syndra suggested i was about to answer when krystal said " no she can't she has an event coming up for which she's preparing hard." after krystal's immediate no looking at destiny and syndra's face they were taken back so i said " Well let's catchup on this weekend it will be fun with decent crowd." the girls agreed."okay let's leave it's psycology class now" i said "you guys carry on we have some work at office see you." said destiny and after waving bye to uncle jacob we left for the class as the girls entered the office we went to student locker room " you should learn to be polite krys you immediately denied to them." I said giggling " and you should learn to make boundries with new people it's not always good to catchup with unknown " krys said in stir tone. It was not new for me krys always had her bar high with new people and even to those she knows. it was not her fault either being in boarding school made her lije this but she always cared for me " okay mumma." i mocked her and we both laughed.
After the college get over we were waiting for krys's bus to arrive she lived at the opposite corner of the and had to travel alot after gossiping about today i bide goodbye to her and started walking to my route my home was 7 blocks away from university so i walked slowly. after reaching home i had my lunch my father was a businessman and mother a homemaker. i went to my room and dozed off just as i fell on bed.
