When Phyllis got to the office, she called Justice who was also a Director at one of their branches and a close friend to Dennis' Director to convince Abraham, Dennis' Director to talk to the CEO to rescind his decision and solve their issues the proper way. Justice spoke to Abraham as discussed and he agreed to do that. During her lunch break, Phyllis also closed from her office and went to see Abraham to discuss Dennis' issue with him not as his girlfriend but as a concerned Director.
In the course of their discussions, Abraham showed a copy of the letter Dennis had brought from his lawyers to Phyllis and she feigned ignorance of it. She later convinced him to go with her to Dennis' house with her so that they could check up on him and talk to him as well since he was battling with the issue. This she believed would help Dennis. Abraham led the conversation, advising him on how to calmly deal with the issue and Phyllis added to it.
She requested to use his washroom and Dennis sought permission from Abraham to be excused so that he could show her to the place. We sure can have lunch together, just let me know where you wanna eat." She sent that text to make him wait for her food because that's what she wanted him to have for lunch and she didn't want him to eat before she got there.
She called him to inform him that she's set off. When he saw her, he was so excited to see her and as she gave him the bag she was holding, he was surprised as he saw the bag contained food because he had made reservations for them to eat out. He called to cancel his reservations and they both ate together. After they finished eating, they had a lengthy conversation about how their week went and how he was holding up since he had been suspended.
