Broken Boundaries: Unorthodox chronicles.

Things were normal for a time. Wake up, be annoyed by my siblings, avoid the black shadow and the attic things, go to school, avoid the what aren't humans. Maybe just my day will go forward like it should be. I don't need transferring to another foster family. Or change of schools. Just please be another passive day. I am grateful for what I have. I don't need to be a street rat. ----- Welcome to a small wedge of a book series is to come. This book isn't even the first in the timeline of things. However starting here can make sense of the laws and creatures encountered in other books. Some of the volumes could each be considered its own book. Some views of the same event aren't always written the same ways. Some chapters will inevitably be repeated in other books. As the series as a whole wasn't intended to be posted online originally. The concepts touched on are just imagination and theories in a sort of storyline. I mean no disrespect towards anyone. So enjoy with a side of salt and open mindedness. Discussion is how always to resolve misunderstanding. --- Disclaimer for any spelling or grammar errors. I use writing stories as a way to counter my dyslexia. It also seems that my dyslexia has its way of telling any sort of story in the wrong order. I guess this is how I ended up with 20 books to edit and post. Good luck in the adventure. Your always welcome to comment!

The watching from the office in gloom darkness, eye carved out from clay greying drama mask. It has chosen to live here. It was to watch each and every royal generation make sense of the piles paperwork.

Today was a special day, as two little sisters are talking to the sprout village of fey. These small tiny delicate race was a victim of thier great grandfathers realm war. The younger sister had other thoughts in her mind, her very eyes mirror that grandfathers ambition of being perfect. Sadly, she is to young to be considered in drama of their family. Her view has been smaller because of being in the shadow of her big sister. A pure lass whom is coming of a early ladies age but not arranged in marriage. It is odd as most them have signs of becoming a lady this early are always give fiancées as soon as possible.

"We should pick whom we marry." The youngest was always been the cause of such strange ideas. If their parents were listening, she would have been silenced and separated. The fey here was diplomatic immunity for such interference and she was going to use it to her advantage over her big sister.

"We both know that traditional marriage isn't about love, Lucy." White gentle hands holding seeds of what remained salvaging burnt forest, "Where should we plant their new village? If we give them a place by the coast, no harm will come of them."

"Oh sister, do you forget that salt dries them? We should plant them closer to a water source and near creatures like themselves. Yet in all seriousness, if we had the freedom to marry whom we like. Would you still marry your arranged husband?"

"We have never met. Our parents haven't talked about this. Now focus, what can we do to save these fey? We can't let them be ate by the darkness." A sparkle in Roses eye as she is covered in flower faces of other cute tiny pixies. A light sparkle of fey dust shimmers over to amplify such cute.

The youngest can't help but sigh and smile about how favored her sister is. A thought that soured and pouted her lips. I turns in looking about the empty courtyard, annoyed in jealousy. Her sister isn't going to want to talk about what she does, until the choose of where these pest should stay. But given they are useful for letting her talk to her sister alone.

"Why not here? We can watch over the garden together." The gasp and joy of such a fantastic idea sprung the sister to use magic. They torn up the large floor stones themselves and then poured energy into the seeds. What is done is do. Before the disapproval of thier parents can overwrite it.

"Girls what are you doing?" Mr Panner is the main bulter of their house as his wife at his side is thier Nanny.

"The Fey can live here in this courtyard, protecting the Palace from darkness." Rose spoke of long of such plans and how once the population was strong enough could then be reestablished in the realms they are lost from. A temporary solution for sure. A child's dream with some issues these children had not of thought of.

The window of the royal office was opened to air out the stuffed room. The mask hovers in study of the servants that cant see it. It tilts right on their faces, and move things behind their backs. Often it prevents the piles of files from crashing or mixing.

"My lords I must implore that we must keep out of the affairs of the none world. Now we have a grasp of thier technology, it is wise that we best cloak this land from being found again." four men stood as the gold crown took seat at the study desk, "I am sure if technology was to improve any better, it would be of no hindrance to us."

"King Williams, we can't just ignore the fourth of our population whom are now the organisation protecting our boarders."

"I agree, we can't just cut off our only blood flow of outside goods."

"I disagree, the imports that we do get have caused more harm then good. Even the medications and jabs for flu viruses."

They are all silenced and waved back out. A servant escorted the guests out. The two sisters soon face the music about planting strange creatures in other Lords garden especially the royals home. As they leave the sister smile success of thier labor, they promised that they come back to the fey planted here.

"You are awakened, its rare that your ever interested in existence." The king sighs in staring at the papers here. The notice of how the mask has been filling out paperwork on his behalf. Yet these is key chooses left open for him to graze.

"The future is the past, King Williams. If that is how you wish to continue." It makes sure to sound that there is always chooses, "There is far worse powers then gods, demons or darkness. I am whom gaurds all from such repeated tragedy. It were not my personal failure but the wishes of those above us. Beg in written blood that of things started back around again, it would be to make better prevention."

The king studies the many documents and mills over the most interesting of them. In closer study, it was documents inferring to a royal bloodline issue. There is a reason why every generation before was a dropping by percentages drastically. Incest is damaging the genetics. This paper is ahead of its time in term of medial understanding. The discovery of blood types was only finalized during the Second world war. DNA... it sure is a concept without evidence. None are sure if the structure of it for turth.

"You are always years ahead when you wake up. Next you would joke that you hear a voice from the other side of the world is from a mirror."

"It will be invested eventually. It be more the size of a brief case at the moment." The king looks to it while the mask was tilted in watching the courtyard movement of fey, "You dont need to be a part of it. It has its flaws. Dependence on power that makes the earth ill, fills out soils in chemicals and water blacken in decay. Digging coal, tapping for gases and drilling for oil. Nasty business in the name of progress. You are wise to stay away from it, make healthy mimics from borrowed energy."

"There you go again with nonsense. Utter nonsense. Voices from briefcases. Nonesense." The king does however understand what the medical papers are showing. Bloodlines are just to closely related. He flicks through the files, long silence.

"Pardon me my king. Its your queen." The king stands and as his hand slips a documents file to the floor, "Twins, my king. The service of the midwives have been successful. They are healthy."

"Congratulations." The bulter freaks a little in wondering where the other voice is from. The king smiles, look down to in feeling achievement. The paper uncover under his hand was about bride and groom potentials to which ever son or daughter he was having. The smile slide with a light frown, as this mask has slept for the last 3 tries before. So it being aware and awaken would only mean these boys will live past the age of 2, at least. The kings minds considers that it were a eventual that he would have a living heir to replace him. This file was maybe placed there at the first try.

"I must go see my beloved queen. We will discuss the future another time." The king walks at leave.

"I am sorry for the sacrifices it takes to keep them becuase life is about give and take. Those are the rules. They will be strong brothers, together." The king tilts in studying the mask. Ot watched the King move across the room then turn to watch the windows once more. The king frowns and leaves properly. Just like the frist king, he too has a wife he loves and the other to strengthen the blood or power. Whichever eldest child he has, from either queen is his inheriter. What a squable between powerful women, whom stains which hands.

The mask tilts in how the bulter looks around confused of empty room. It snickers as it makes paper rattle, spooking the man to leave.

A light chuckle as it goes back to writing within a tattered old book. Sitting on the kings place and inking a feather with its own tears. Correcting life's mistakes or missed corrections before death could do it. Inspecting for invaders or issues in space time. Staring on such pages made from skin, blood, inks and souls. Most of the bindings are tied together by the guts of previous fallen enders or scraps of flowing life threads from outside this time space. For a book that started out is carved from the first lifeforms of time. It had grown much larger due this being the four recorded restart (the second ever to include having a ender at all). The remains of lost timelines, enders whom died and lost what they fought for. The remains of the timelines where the ender title decimated everything within. Each universe has handled what way it influences the most broken or suited protectors of its boarder very differently.

"Your a blank slate compare to many I have spoken to." Every Ender has met the one eldest - Its goal is to collect other broken timelines and restore them for another chance. It also has a darker side whom wishes to eat timelines that no longer move on. It were assumed those time spaces are when souls are at peace, every last soul of a universe.

"Yet I am aware of you. You're a helper then a hindering type. I had became my place because one slaughtered life and death. But I do have to give that freak credit, its put them three in fates path. The first time collapse because life and death refused to be among the order of universe. Two women fighting over a man or was it two men fighting over a woman? I can't recall how they told me."

"Very interesting because gods don't do genders." Hooded torn human with flesh that falls apart and back together again, "Does it matter now? Time has moved on."

"Their children wished to know, it is why I worry so. A few souls with a difficult wishes of peace between all three gods." The book flickers alone, "How can I be of help to you Elder? You show up to take things away, give good advice, maybe interference when needed... many things that torn enders have warned me of. Yet each have asked me to trust you with giving themselves to you."

"I am retiring from my god ender centuries of fixing. You are the closes time space I have observed to be suited for this... thankless task. My time is up, I have strung out to far. I had tried others. But if I told you what you needed to become me. You will have to be prepared. Make your timeline flexibility enough to help fix those lost others. Be strong to kill and not be killed. Be gentle, soft and steady handed to carve it all."

The mirror of how both tilted each other.

"What qualifications do I have to be handed a burden like that?" the hood snicker and rips out its soul throwing it into the mask.

The room is ripped apart as most unfortunate unforgiving misery carve scars in the subconscious. Book of tomes, all connected to the soul tome are self-inflicted torture. Horrible hollow scream sung out through every last page and imprinted ink marks that wrote then erased. A new world of just the tome of timelines was created and then tattooed over the being.

The book of soul was now edited and reshaped. No longer a just a book torn apart book by gods to write names. It were a vast mountain realm, layers of every availabilities to save or have written names. All that this realm contents is were just soul names. Soul names of timelines lost, in peace or broken beyond outsiders repair. Every name was unique to the fabric of space time that tied every single completed soul tome. Let us not forget that soul tomes are made of tower that death records, life's written records and compendium of soulless creatures.

Its current soul keeper was now a young timeline with no future before. It has torn the royal Manor study into splitters, burnt papers and unrecognizable object parts.

"My king, your study was suddenly been attacked." Soilders of demons, angels and mage stand weapons lifted to the cloth. The figure look like something from a low clay cloth animation production. A sort of shapeless steam punk clothy guy from Nine (Does anyone know that movie by Tim Burton?). The plate mask face of grey was pouring a constant flow of black stream from lenses sockets. A mouth ripped through but then sewn back within the cloth.

"I am sure he has a explanation." The king is not in the slightest worried of what happened, "Leave him be, when he wakes up. I am sure he will be honest. He is never been the type to be wrong or ill motive."

The king stays at his dying wife's side, as she protected her children from the wrath of the other queen. This was more priority then his office being splinters. It stayed with his lover to her very last.

"I will protect our sons. Make them strong." A true to his heart promise, painful as it may that she is gone.

The cloth figure shook from being tranced and begun rebuilding the damages of the room. It prefects its need of practice of wood carving, redecorating the studies bookshelves of ornate details. It melted and bent the metal embossing of the study door. It made, wrote, printed and shelved every last book. The papers are now just a wasted of time.

Instead now was a pick and choose adventure. A main book on the desk answers questions and directed to advice on the shelves. New books were mixed among the shelves, knowledge from the future. Medical, science even several copies of conflicted history pathways. It was melting new crystal stone drinking glasses for the wine cabinet in the corner, looking to the window it hasn't started yet. It's eyes narrows and then ignores for the moment.

"Ah, my advicer. It seems you can see my friend here." The king comes to sit at the desk and he tilted about the change of papers every to just a book on the desk. The clothy chills a crystal to ice temp, placing it to the desk. It puts two more down and tilts in looking to the cabinet once more. The bird on the remains of the window hops through and turned into a bowing young lad. A fist in the floor as he bows.

"Forgive me for being late to warn you."

"Hardly your fault follower of omens. My interference of space time causes side affects unseen. Your actually on time." it voice was living and wholesome, "Besides, my visitor had cause this study to be a mess... they are dead now."

It make two more glasses set at the desk and pours each cup with a suitable drink. It pulls the follower off the floor and puts one in the followers hand. A drink was passed to the king with a rose wine close to refill at leasure. It pulls the god into visible sight, gave them a drink. It pulled a grim reaper, gave them a drink. The last cup was for itself, it sits down on air and sips what seems a empty cup. The grim and the god look to each other and take attention to what is happening.

"You have always been an oddity, my friend. What exactly are we drinking to?"

It garbled a long moment of words that none understood and then spoke words they did know. Celebrating the lives of two healthy brothers, the death of a queen and a death that will never be understood. It toasts as red blood streams its left side. The impact of this freind whom died was serious. The grim who recorded it wasn't this timelines either. It was his syths soul, it now had that drink and left to do the same imprinting over the current syth over the tome of souls.

"Omens and your young short life follower... the impact of the tome record of souls will cause a universal wave issues. It be wise to warn death, life and summons of the problem. It is about to be a very... interesting deconstruct of how names will now be processed into any book. Once you have warned them, they will be huanted by phantoms. These phantoms wish to teach them and be at peace when those teachers are satisfied by thier students new skills." The god tries the drink and glares at the being, "I am not replacing you job, omens. I do to much to not bother warning people in what I do. My work should go unnoticed. Its of no care to the internal works of our universe. My duties are about things that do not matter to you. If it ever came to it bothering others, I will let you know to warn them." The god shivers in moving away from the being. It were not a being that should be.

"Mysterious as always mask freind." The king pouts. They all properly toasted once more as the king rants of issues on his mind. The follower does his best with the advice. The god and the mask do not give any inputs towards it.

"There were once three brothers, a story you were told as a child by me." the mask speaks as the king is nearly half asleep, the follower was wide awake and tilted toward the mask, "what I didn't tell was that all three brothers held fragments of me. Each was taught and influenced by whichever fragments of my soul they held. My insanity of selfishness was given to the eldest whom I thought would be strong enough to fight it. My heart was given to the one whom founded the Hunters of oath. The second eldest was given my experiences of skills, he began seeking the lost broken parts. The fragments of soul that got stuck from returning. He is the only brother still technically alive to this day. He had witnessed what my true shape was... he had seen what I do and he understood my place. I put my trust in his hunters whom continue to fix little details across time and space." The cup it sips from was lifted to eye level, that swallowed whole... a long pause as it was crunching it.

"I dont know this story of three brothers." the follower tilts.

"Because the three highest nobility are scared of such secret spreading. Its one of the few secrets a advicer should find more about... or maybe you next in line for your title as kings advicer." it takes put a knife and snacks on it too. The king deep asleep now, "Off you fly follower. Do so before the grim reaper works out how to take you." The finished glasses down and the fledgling takes shape into instant flight. His god shortly in jump next, glaring back to the cloth.

The king is scooped up and carried to his temporary new bed chamber. Tucked to sleep. It lingers as to make sure the grown man is comfortably dreaming. Leaving back to finish cleaning the study.

By the morning light, a new day with watching many servants getting on with life in the manor. It was a perfect moment of touring the whole place before modern changes cover up interesting detail. Exploring a new room every hour, documenting everything. It manages to do survey of opinions by servants here.

Overheard gossip. The public weren't told about the lover queen, so her death goes unrecognized by them. The closes to royalty secretly mourn her. Instead of lover queen it was gossiping of unfaithful the offical wife had been. Her toy boys sneaking out hidden passages.

"Excuse me, but how are you able to walk in light like that?" The damned are never far and are always curious to complete thier unfinished goals. The mask being steps right up to the damned, trying out something few things. Claws that rip the soul out, and stitch any creaks or damages. Sunken back in to the body of shadow, a chilling numbness took over the damned and then it knew exactly what it was do to to find peace. It had totally forgotten the being it was just interacting with. A servant maid cries at the sight of her lost father, a few words are passed and his ash's piled to the floor in front of her. Broken down to tears, a relief of knowing the turth held her weeping over the ashes. The figure makes those ashes flow into a urn, patting her shoulder and left. A Lilly put to her hair. It has always taken time to move on, and the moment to for acceptance.

"Excuse me sir!" Nobility with rotten intentions, "Are you for hire?" This is a mortal assuming the devil walks among.

"Not really. Yet I guess it depends how much it means to yourself that such meaningless task would be worth sacrifices for." The contortion of it flexing to study the nobility from head to toe has made a lasting impression. That of invaded sense digging into your personal space while being examined like a germ under lens. The noble squirms in backing off, facing another way to escape it and totally ignoring it. The noble looks back to the now empty corridor, at a moment of blank mind. He is had no reason to why he felt off about that direction.

The pass of time was always ticking onwards, reach to scratch away chips. Rooms that were useless was becoming increasingly filled of items, colonies of strange things or simple containment for loose energy that had no uses for now. Metal brass plates of strange words labels every single altered rooms. An entire wing of the palace was now a hunter of oath function area. A place where hunter trade in lost relics, sign up, train, or even buy essentials from venders. Such venders are hunters themselves and have the complicated approvals to be here.

Some places had not change by function or much in a way of appearance. Bedrooms of servants, royals and guest were maybe freshend with new painted walls. The kitchens are well equipped and stocked constantly by hunter venders. The meeting rooms well decorated or suitable for depending what guest was to wait in such rooms. A Chapel corridor to the main monastery was hide behind a conspicuous prayer statue. The hidden passages were mapped and marked of corresponding symbols making navigation easier to relate with the other sections of house.

There was new safety features like flame resistant surfaces, antislip flooring and ward spells to stop some unwelcomed spirits tangling in places they shouldn't. The attic has became a minor domain for the mask sleep in... disappearing between 10 year gaps. A slit thin panel window looking to the courtyard as a way to watch the lads learning spells, schooling or catch the eyes of the sisters whom joined them for some classes.

"I wish that a long mirror as long as this corridor would reflect the light back to the courtyard." The queen watching her sons and the other queens sons being taught by the church follower, "Burn away the weeds of fey filth." She believes she was talking to herself alone.

"Be careful, these walls have ears too... little one." She looks around with her heart stopped seeking out that low whisper. A coldness that tickles the neck hairs and took away any sense of negative notions.

" Second Queen." The eldest son of the late queen. He respected her with a bow and at wait for her to say something back. He slide a glance to the outline of a person behind her and then straightens as to ignores.

"Young Mark, what have you came to trouble me with?" He nod and stood with a box made of beautiful carved oster shell. The chromo hues were accenting the garden scenery. He pose the offering to her, "Its very lovely." A low disappointment tone, and he opens it to a bracelet of blue pearls stung gentle with a silver clasp of fish kissing.

"I wish to give this gift to you, my lady. As appreciation for putting up with my brother and me. He may not understand how things are but I do. In someways, I wish the inheritance when to your second son. A far better talent for memorizing facts and understanding country politics then I. Its never going to be enough of an apology for you, no matter what I give and what I do to prove I am on your side." She pouts in thinking of it and took the item. His words are convincing for now but she still hates them both. She waves him away watching him help the younger siblings with book work at the fey village courtyard.

"He looks up to you, you make a strong and stren man if you weren't a lady. Maybe you wear the better trousers when it came to understanding crimes and punishment." She steps away from the breeze down her back, yet it followers her, "If you push him to dislike you anymore then they do already, a consequence beyond anyone control may befall worse. Little birds fly the nest and do not always come back... becuae they watch your actions and they to stomp down on the people they are going to need most, for when it matters." She turns properly to face this figure and it werent there, "You dont need to a thing like me. Ask the church if you must. The birds are always watching."

She runs back the other way. She about jumps her skin as the advicer of the king lands in bow to her.

"Forgive my scare. The king requested you in the library." She frowns and lifted a arm. The follower turns back a bird and lands gently, "Are you well my lady?" He notices her shiver.

"There is darkness that speaks a cold voice in these halls." She looks around.

"A mysterious figure whom the king has faith in, my lady. I too have read of it in the diary of the previous advicer. A stranger who's been among us for generations. Its been around since the war of three brothers." She stopped walking and looks at the bird, "Was sometime it said to you or what i said upset you?"

"You sure know a lot more then you should, follower... You should be careful. The last advicer was ate by secrets."

"More like he was assainated for it by your order. I had to make the funeral arrangements." It opens the doors for her, "We are all trusted here, why be cryptic to our feathered friends." She turns to her husband reading several books from the shelves. He was looking at history records. Comparing them with each other.

"My lady Sophia, I am glad that you not the type to scream in the presence of my mysterious friend. His quite a cold first impression." He closes them for now, "Always looking after our wellbeing."

"William, you better have a good read why we haven't asked the church to rid if it." She took three more steps in and now what was a empty room is now full of other poeple... the masked freak was the more servant acting then the others.

"Are you sure you want her to know?" One voiced, sighing the disapproval of how rude this queen is in their presence.

"She has to if it concerns her children." The eyes of one mother to another, guiding the queen away from trouble. Protective of the brutes around them both. Making sure the mortal is seated comfortably, "She will be smart like you." The shimmer of the goddess blessing her approval as the queen just got told she is indeed pregnant with a third child. She thought that she was careful too.

It's not the kings blood either. The king whom heard is not hurt by it. He just hopes the child was with someone the queen loves. He can see why she was so scorned when he loved his first wife.

"Stressing out a carrying lady maybe unhelpful." the blacken figure spoke gently.

"I would want to know if it considers my first born." the goddess hiss and with the queen's agreement.

"This afternoon the pope of the monastery had came to ask of our children's further education. As they can only read and learn so much from being stuck here. Those around us are not of the church but the spirits whom the churches faithed to, whom each are here to ask our permission about taking them under thier wings."

"They will be stronger in our hands, watched by our eyes and protected by our miracles. We wish to know you approval." The goddess looking after the queen spoke at equality, making sure she was comforted by knowing this choose was safer then without a guided spirit.

"We expect the creep here are what you consider gods. The birds on your shoulder are that of the embodiment of omens and his follower. The goddess over you is what you mages call 'the mother', her love of life and children is her priority. I am the spirit of wisdom, the Norse have nicknamed me as young Oden. The half creature by the wall is one the Egyptian gods, not that I can translate his name. There are many others... watching that you can not see. Even a grim reaper, which is rare. A death god does not often come to speak among the living."

"You're the death god from Japan. The spirits of that land are not normal, so it makes sense thier death gods would be too." The dark figure softly flows this commentary, "A fitting master to a child with morbid taste in dead things."

"Which child would that be?" the king asked.

"I haven't worked out which one. I often try to avoid them." the tilt of the few around here, "Its not normal for many to have the ability to see things they shouldn't. Yet your child all have this gift, able to see the fey even when they are hiding. Able to see the damned walk through. They even watch you, omens... and bother me when I am not minding where I am."

"Gifted with cursed sight. A side affect of the curse your grandfathers caused. Though a little bird has told me that you mysterious stranger are also to blame." The wise God narrows in watching the reaction.

"I guess I did warn them... to arrogont to listen to me." It flutters a hand, "It does not matter now. Time himself, whom is stood behind you, would counter such things as history."

"It isn't wrong." So many here that can not be seen.

"So you want our permission to baptize our children and allow them to learn of practices." The queen moving things along, "If it means giving the children a better stance in the future, let them be guided." She stares into the king, "If you dare put them in any danger, I will make your life hell."

"She isn't wrong." The mysterious agrees.

"All the children will be given fair chances to choose or find faith, if she can approve and so I too will have to." The king bows as most leave from this, his queen stays at long thinking of just what she had approval she just allowed the church to step closer into family affairs.

"There will be one or two children whom will find a faith but will need guidance from someone more cursed them a normal God. With your approval, I am glad to teach them and protect them from harm. Life lessons that no God will understand. In thanks to the nature of curses."

"You have my trust, friend." The stare is to the queen, although the king approves.

"There is nothing mentally wrong with them nor was it anyone fault for such strange powers. The society of the damned have continued to watch over them when they wandered outside of living boundary. As a worrying mother, I have been wanting to explain just how dangerous things do become without a spirit of shadows watching them. Having a god to stand at their shoulder could also burn them. As tainted souls are unable to withstand the nature of divine powers."

It was everything she had ever worried and could not find simples answers for. It was glass wall that blocked her. Such wall shattered and showers her with relief and certainty.

Her children are not like the other queens. Her children are of the dark curse, they act with poor judgement because the way they express themselves is different. They had been lost and confuse to why they things should be is not the same for themselves. Her own father and her grandfather had never explained why she wasn't allow to do the things that she seen as normal. When she had that chance for her children, she didn't want them shackled to her fathers and grandfathers rules. At consequences she didn't understand happened.

She see this dark mysterious stranger for what it seems now. It was the voice that warned her of when things would have harmed her children. In her mind, she then knew that it been around doing this for her mother and her grandmother. Protecting them for generations. The shadow whom was the cause of such curse was also protecting those affected by it.

"What are this society you claim of?" The follower of omens asked.

"You god will not approve of me explaining."

"I see... know I see why my husband trusts you. Hardly a stranger. It was hardly your fault either. From what I have heard of my grandfathers, they sought your powers to make it their own." She gives her nods, "I just hope my children learn to listen better then their grandfathers."
