As the huge doors opened they entered with carriage and she calmly looked around. The house was indeed big and looked comfortable, but all the unneeded stuff in the yard made her go all dizzy. Broken pots and ripped out trees, plants, bushes all over the place. The windows, doors were ripped into tiny pieces and were spread all over the place. Actually, she would like this place. But she would need to renovate so many things. And looking the few dangerously looking sheep main pillars in house, it seems that this place is about to fall apart.

''Sir, don't take me wrong, but this place... It would cost me more to repair all the things than it is worth. Let's go to the other place if possible.'' Shu Ya just shook her head as she saw the mess.

Mao La turned his head towards one of the officers that started shaking. ''What happened here? Last time I was here it was everything fine. How is this possible?!'' He roared so loud that Shu Ya had to cover her ears.

The officer shook and started to stammer. ''I...I let his wife inside as she told me she will just pick up her personal items but then few people jumped in right after and destroyed the whole house. On end, even her clothes were snipped in pieces.''

Mao La smiled suddenly. ''And did you find out who are the people that came?''

The officer nodded and weakly answered. ''They were from Bai family second miss. It seems the son promised her marriage and then cheated her for a bunch of money.''

Mao La rose his eyebrows and glanced at Shu Ya that coldly shrugged. ''Don't even think to ask me about this. they even kicked me out family. I never met the second miss of the Bai family.''

he nodded. ''I know. You don't mind if I punish them?''

She just chuckled coldly. ''Would they mind if I did the same and got punished? I hope only you would just consider not harming my grandparents they are old. Everyone else I do not care at all.''

''I promise. The damage and renovation they have to pay. Let's check the other house.'' The renovation will take months and Shu Ya needed home now.

The wall to the other house was even higher and when the big door opened Shu Ya knew that all those five hundred silver were worth it for this place. As soon the main door opened a slight gasp could be heard from her.

As they entered with the carriage a huge garden opened up in front of her eyes. Various fruit trees could be seen everywhere. The beautiful pathway towards the main house as well as towards side houses. The many houses were connected by covered paths and everything was surrounded with dried flowers. But she knew in summer moths this place must have looked even more beautiful.

As they walked to the main house a huge main room was filled with elegant furniture that just fit the whole appearance and flair of the house. When they walked further in many rooms could be seen connected by covered paths. The min room had as well a huge bedroom that had its own porch and sight towards a small lake and small bamboo forest.

Shu ya loved it. Sitting here and relaxing on warm summer days seemed quite relaxing.

Mao La pointed ta other rooms and as she saw the rooms she realized here must have lived a huge family. Each room had side rooms for servants and their own small yard at the back of the house. Further away was a big kitchen and rooms for servants. Shu Ya didn't like the way the servant rooms looked ant scrunched her eyebrows.

Nobles that are not noble at all. Thin walls and no heating pods. The blankets looked quite old and thin. the beds were set only with that little bit. Nothing under to keep servants warm.

She pressed lips and coldly chuckled. ''Nobles? That is just for the show. Treating so bad own servants, that is not noble at all.'' She turned her head and smiled at him. ''I am taking it. When can we sign the contracts?''

He rose his hand to stop her. ''As this is a house, of course, they owned land as well. Its included in price. You want to see it?''

''Of course.'' Her eyes suddenly shone brighter. Did she get something for free on top of this amazing place? She'll take it. Definitely.

They walked past the servant rooms and the huge metal side door was unhatched from inside and when she came out she could see fields behind. She rose her eyebrows as she had no idea what is this about.

Mao La chuckled. ''They just let their fields bare as nobleman had enough money and didn't want to bother with fieldwork.''

Shu Ya suddenly felt anger rising. ''he had enough money not to rise fields but not enough to buy proper covers for his servants. Woah...'' She patted her chest in irritation. ''Never mind that. I don't care how they want to live. Tell me how much of this land behind is mine.'

Mao La pointed out. ''From that big stone to the other stone and then the third and fourth stone cant be seen from here. they are all signed into land papers and have seals carved on it. All together around fifty mu of land. Let's sign the contracts now.''

Shu Ya nodded. ''Good.''

She became quiet. When they entered the town it was starting to get dark. They quickly went to the main office and signed all papers and when she was about to go out a young man passed her.

he glanced at her but she just happily looked at the land papers like a child into a favourite toy.

She turned her head towards Bolin and waved the papers. ''Uncle Bolin, look, I have a new home now. Can I be happy now? Or will again happen something to me?'' Her eyes became red and wet.

Bolin just tapped her head. ''Now is fine. You will be happy. Everything is legal and you can finally relax.''

''Then that is fine as well. I am getting tired of this life. It's so bothersome to be hunted over and over again. I am just tired...'' Shu Ya suddenly fell to the floor and fainted.
