Chapter Ten

Thanuja wondering what Lashani said after the conversation at Sansali's office,

"What Lashani said is true… I need to talk to you about this and make a decision…" he thought to himself.

He held his phone quietly as it rang.

"Hello, Nisal Bro are you busy…"

Thanuja called from the beyond,

"No, Tell what's it about"

Thanuja paused for a moment, wait for an answer.

"Brother, I have something important to talk about. it's about Sansali… let's meet and talk… Nisal, tell me a free time…"

According to Thanuja, Nisal looked at his diary.

"Ah brother, Let's meet at the Park House Café at 6.pm today…" he decided and ended the conversation.

Thanuja went to the café before Nisal at the scheduled time and waited for Nisal to arrive. When Nisal arrived, Thanuja ordered two drinks and started a calm conversation.

"So Thanuja, What's the Matter…"

In the face of the question posed by Nisal, Thanuja told Nisal without a word of the conversation that happened in Sansali's office.

"Bro, Lashani and I thought… Sansi has been suffering like this for a long time now. and we don't know exactly who was the girl who was at the Galleface with Deeptha that day. So, we are thinking that we should meet Deeptha and talk about this and clarify out."

Nisal listened intently to what Thanuja was saying and after thinking for a while he raised his voice.

"I think it's good. the three of us go and talk to Deeptha first… Let's decide what to do next according to what he says, bro…"

Thanuja nodded and agreed with Nisal.

"Okay, brother… I'll find out where Deeptha is and tell you within this week."

Thanuja and Nisal finally decided to meet Deeptha and figure the things about Sansali.

Thanuja got home and went straight to his bedroom. He sat on the bed and started calling Lashani.

"Hello, Thanu… Why are you at this time…" Lashani asked curiously,

"I just met Nisal and came home Lashani…"

Thanuja told Lashani and explained the conversation that he had with Lashani.

After telling everything to Lashani, Thanuja started calling his friend Manawa. He was a co-educator at Deeptha's university and Manawa and Deeptha were good friends.

"Hello, Dude Thanuja. How are you?"

"I'm Fine dude… how the work is so far to you…" Thanuja asked.

"No offense man…I'm still alive with the new life Lol…it's been four years now… and it's going to be the two to three…" he laughed and began to joke with Tanuja.

"Oh, congratulations so you're going to be a farther soon… I heard about your wedding ceremony from some of the others… Did your friend's Miyuranga and Deeptha came to witness that day…"

Thanuja asked Deeptha's name heavily because he wanted to know about Deeptha at the moment.

"Yeah Dude… they came…: "Manawa began to say.

"Are those two also married now…Aren't they." Thanuja waited in anticipation for the answer.

"Miyurange is Married too… but Deeptha is not... He is in abroad…" Manawa said.

"Do you know when will Deeptha come back? because I need a favor from him…" Thanuja said in frustration.

"I don't know. but I'll ask him… and will let you know…"

That word's from Manawa gave Thanuja some hope.

From the moment he woke up the next morning, Thanuja was impatient to get a call from Manawa. In anticipation of a satisfactory answer, Thanuja opened a few files for the next day's trial.

Thanuja's attention was drawn out from those files because the phone rang. Although Thanuja was relieved to have Manawa's name on the screen, he was shocked. Thanuja responded to the call by hiding his shock through his voice.

"Hello, Manawa Tell Dude…Any Positive reply…"

"Dude guess what… Deeptha will come to Sri Lanka tomorrow." as Manawa said Thanuja relief his stress by a sigh.

Thanuja ended the phone conversation by thanking Manawa and told Nisal and Lashani about the message he had received. Three of them were overjoyed to hear of Deeptha's arrival.

The other two agreed as they decided on a date to meet Deeptha decide by Nisal and clarify the things which are complicated.

"Peace Street" is a small narrow road in the village of Bodhirajagama10 in the center of Theldeniya town. The road, which was limited to five houses, ended at a renovated quiet house. The house has improved over the past four years, adding new features to the old ones.

The side gate that opens to the well-appointed park and the gate, which is attached to the brown wall that forms like a giant wall around the garden, are quietly guarded and are home to a small family of five members. The house was so developed because of the hard-earned money from Deeptha.

It was paying off one evening in September. The twin sisters Mandari Ahasya Herath and Sayuri Aloka Herath were sitting in the comfort of their room studying books. Mandari put the book in her hand and called her sister.

"Oh god.. I'm tired of studying now.. The library let everyone have four books because of the exam.. I brought them too… wait I'll bring them…" she said and left the room. After a while and brought four books and came into the room.

She sat on the bed with some books on the table. Sanuri stared at Mandari sitting on the bed in amazement.

The tea to the two daughters who were studying was bought by their beloved mother Nilwala. She gives them some comfort. Sanuri entered the room and place the tea tray on the table and went towards her mother. She raised her voice and hugged her mother.

"Look, mom.. there is no freedom until the exam is over.. more work due to the final exam..

Nilwala, who had spent a moment chatting with the two daughters, left to prepare dinner. As soon as she stepped into the kitchen, the house phone rang and she stepped towards it.

Nilwala who kept the receiver on her ear,

"Hello"

She said and waited for an answer from beyond.

"Hello, mom.. this is me," Deeptha called out to his loving mother over the phone.

Nilwala was overwhelmed by the voice of her beloved son.

"Honey.. how are you my child… why at this time.. is it an emergency.. we're not talking at this time usually."

Nilwala asked in a curious voice because she knew that her son Deeptha, who had to work in Japan with his family out of the abyss and hand made a fortune would never speak at such a time.

"Mom calm down. There's no such a big deal. I'm coming to Sri Lanka tomorrow.. I just said that…" He said with a smile and started talking again.

"Mom.. but don't tell the sisters about this right now.. Mom, I want to surprise them both.. so, mommy I'll be home around tomorrow afternoon.."

Nilwala listened intently to what her son was saying. Then she raised her voice.

"Okay honey.. be careful then…May triple gem bless you…" Nilwala left the receiver and stepped into the kitchen.

The twins who were washing the cups of tea smiled and looked at their mother who was coming into the kitchen, in amazement. Sanuri raised her voice to the point where she could not bear the surprise.

"You in so happy mood.. who called mommy.."

Nilwala looked at his daughters and told them a little lie at the request of his son.

"Aunt Anne called. she will visit us tomorrow…"

Nilwala said so without hesitation to the two daughters. After they left she took the jackfruit she had bought from the market the day before and cleaned the pulp to prepare milk jackfruit for her son Deeptha.

Deeptha has been a giant shadow for the Nilwala since the death of her husband. Soon after leaving school and finishing his higher education, Deeptha went to Japan to take care of his family. He works hard and makes a successful income because while Nilwala managed the money from his son properly.

After dinner, Mandari and Sanuri studied till late in the morning with the intention of preparing well for the exam.
