SINGULARITY

We didn't know why those creatures attacked or what they were until another portal opened and this time, it was...

"Stacy?"Apollo asked.

"Wait, that's your daughter?"I asked.

She had the features of both her human father and mermaid mother, but was far more beautiful than either of them were, dressed in armour made of a metal I couldn't identify, she then spoke in a language we didn't understand and we were confused till everything played in our minds,"Your dimension is in great danger, it is the next target of Darlok the Dreadful."

And not only was she from another reality, she was also from another time which explained the age difference as, in mermaid terms, she had to be able two centuries old.

"Dreadful the who?"I asked in my mind.

She giggled which actually sent butterflies into my stomach till she turned serious and said,"An inter dimensional tyrant who goes from dimension to dimension just to increase his reign."

"Oooh, you mean those big feet we saw!"My dad realized.

She shook her head, she was beginning to lose hope in us but continued,"He is not just a pair of feet, but a being of pure evil and..."

"Yeah we've actually met a lot of brings of pure evil and think we can handle ourselves."I thought.

She smiled then shrugged and said,"I tried, good luck..."

"Wait!"Apollo yelled, stomping on both my and my dad's feet as he went along,"Please don't mind us, some are born with superior intellect to others, and some are born...with none at all."

My dad dropped his jaw as I frowned and said,"You are going to be grounded a long time after this..."

He ignored us to tell her to continue then flashes played in our minds, of Earths where people were suffering, enslaved by that being who had no face, literally, we never saw it, and he never had to move a muscle, he had some kind of magic that just produced his minions from normal creatures in other universes then dumped them in his world, where he had total control over them.

I was actually surprised, not because of his power, but because of his actions, for a guy who could raid any universe or planet he desired and create minions from all across the cosmos, why was he picking here? Literally, three fourths of the population had been wiped out...by the previous cataclysm, we didn't have the numbers, and there were many universes with enlightened creatures like ourselves, so he probably wasn't looking for power houses, then what did he want?

Stacy then said the first wave was an easy one, just to test our strength, that the next would be much harder, and it was either that my dream was right, I was as dumb as a rock, or I was just really brave, but I didn't care, all I cared was that my family was safe.

She then smiled at me then said,"You've attained a Drana crystal."

"What?"I asked.

"That amulet on your neck, they are extremely rare and are made of pure energy, there are many types but you are having a Water type Drana crystal and the thing is, how did you get it?"

"Irono, I just beat up some hunky junky warlock monster and broke some purple lollipop he was holding then it turned to this."

"Strange..."She said,"...we'll hold on to that because they only come once in a multitude of lifetimes."

Then she vanished just as suddenly as she had appeared and I was confused.

I took off the necklace and held it in my hand and Alek asked if he could have a look, I was about to give it to him when I remembered what had happened, how when I broke the monster's own, it killed it then came to me then I tried to give the child an excuse which I knew he didn't believe, but he kept his peace, till that night...

"Alek, are you sure about this?"Jessica asked.

"Don't worry, nothing bad will happen."

It vanished and appeared in his hand but lost its glow then immediately appeared back on my neck, glowing again and he was confused, after about eight tries, I caught him by the hand and asked,"How many times are you going to try?"

He shivered as I smiled then said,"Don't worry, it will be our little secret."

It was like the crystal was warning me ever since I lied to him, but I got a nightmare whenever he removed it, like I was being burned, but not by fire, by ice, so cold it burned through my skin.

I then woke up and saw him through the slits of my eyes, but remained motionless as he tried futilely, then I held his hand and asked the million dollar question, I also felt like the crystal was somehow talking to me, it sent me dreams, jumbled up sounds which seemed to be very effective and more, but I preferred not to use it and rather to use my own light, even though I felt it gave me the capacity to be more powerful than even when the Knight possessed me.

Anneliese was asleep when she felt a cool breeze over her face which tickled her nostrils.

She giggled, expecting me to be playing with her but then gasped when she opened her eyes.

In the night sky were colourful and glowing rings around a central point, from which two beams of energy and matter were spewed out in opposite directions at near light speed...it was a black hole.

She was breathing heavily and tried to wake me up but I was soundly sleep talking, and it made no sense, but she saw the gem I was wearing was shining brighter than usual, brighter than the long gone moon had ever shone.

She just instinctively grabbed the amulet as the chain broke when she caused the metal in it to break apart.

It turned black in her hand and the black hole literally flickered, right before the amulet disappeared and reappeared on my neck again, with the metal repairing itself.

Anneliese tried and tried again till I grabbed her hand and started freezing it, slowly and painfully.

She screamed and punched me in the face, or at least tried as her arm was held back by an irresistible force right before the electrons on both her fist and my face collided, aka, before she could hit me, the she was blasted through several walls as I stood up and the sun at the other half of the earth also started shrinking fast as the hydrogen nuclei and oxygen started binding in the tremendous heat to form water.

Anneliese could not even stand up by the time she was carried into the air and choked by the water in her own body and tears streamed down her cheeks as memories of who she was and the time we had had together played in my mind, the the gem dimmed and the black hole popped, right before I caught my wife between my arms, furious at whoever did this to her, but she whispered with her little breath,"The amulet is dangerous, please, get rid of it."

I looked at it as it glowed and repaired everything that was destroyed then back at her and said,"I'm sorry, but I can't."

"What?"She asked, weakly.

I placed my hand over her eyes and she immediately fell asleep as I carried her to our bed and walked out as she instantaneously healed...

"Was I the only one who just saw a black hole pop?"Catherine asked.

"Yup."Curtis said.

She shrugged then walked away then Curtis asked Alexa,"So where do you think that black hole came from?"

"Beats me."She also shrugged.
