We appeared behind Franklin and he turned back to see us then yelled,"You told him?!"

Lilith shyly hid behind me and I tightened my grip on her hand and stood in front of her as I said,"Franklin, I understand I did some bad things against you and your son but you could have just confronted me instead of using my daughter like this."

"Bad things?! My son is in a coma with irreparable ear damage and has probably been paralyzed for life, the best healers said he would be lucky to wake up and you think this is bad?! You're right, I shouldn't have used your daughter, I should have just done the same to her!"

I frowned then said,"If you dare lay a hand on Lilith..."

I could sense Lilith shivering behind me then calmed down, this wasn't the way.

I then said,"Franklin, we're friends, we shouldn't be like this, I am absolutely sorry for what I did to your son, but my daughter is the best healer on the planet and my son can make anything happen just by imagining it, you could have talked with me to help you."

Franklin cooled down then asked,"Really, you'd do that?"

"For old time's sake."

He smiled then I started walking forward to get Apollo, then I felt a sharp pain in my side then immediately felt weak to my knees then fell.

I heard Lilith scream my name as Franklin dragged her away.

I couldn't move as the poison coursed through my veins, I tried my best to yell my daughter's name but no words came out of my mouth.

I lost consciousness as blood seeped out of the wound...

I opened my eyes and immediately yelled Lilith's name and fell off the bed, aching all over.

Anneliese picked me up and placed my head on her knees then said I should relax.

I whispered as that was all I could manage at the moment,"Where's Lilith?"

"We don't know, but you have to rest, Apollo isn't home at the moment, that's why I had to heal you the best I could but please, rest."

When she said Apollo wasn't around, I knew for sure Franklin must have gotten him then yelled,"Apollo!"

"Sleep."Anneliese said.

I lost consciousness and fell back down on her laps then she lifted me back onto the bed with her light.

She didn't know what to do, she couldn't leave Jessica or go with her, neither could my mom and Alek, it was simply too dangerous and Alexa wasn't around either, she could call her to go with the boys but...but what? She could do exactly that!

Alexa got off the car then ran to Anneliese and our mom who welcomed her with a warm embrace, she said,"I brought the boys, what's wrong?"

"It's Felix, he was hurt badly by Franklin and Lilith was taken, you three are our only hope."Our mom answered.

"O- of course we'll go."Alexa said.

"Thank you honey."Our mom said then hugged her.

"I'll go and look for Apollo to make sure he's okay while Anneliese will stay with the children and Felix, you can go after Lilith."Our mom said.

"Got it."Alexa said.

My mom kissed her and hugged her before saying,"I love you so much."

"I love you too mom."

Alexa went to Trevor and Curtis who were waiting in the large gazebo.

Curtis then asked,"What happened?"

"My brother is bed ridden and my niece has been kidnapped, it's up to us to get her back, will you come with me?"

Trevor laughed and asked,"Is that all?"

Alexa's expression changed as she thought he was taking the situation too lightly. When he realized she didn't get what he was doing, he smiled, took her hand in his then said,"What I meant was, that's too little to ask, of course I'll do it."

Curtis finally spoke,"Of course, but, how will we find her?"

Alexa then said,"Leave that to me..."

Alexa was typing away on her high tech laptop and the boys were sitting by, keeping themselves busy.

Trevor was trying his luck by encouraging her, but she preferred to work in private yet didn't know how to tell him to give her some space.

Curtis on the other hand was training, he had to be prepared for whatever he could face.

Alexa hacked into a polar military satellite for a better field of view.

She used it to scan all around the continent for at least Lilith and she found her then downloaded the GPS coordinates then showed them to Curtis.

He focused on those coordinates then stretched his arm and an oval shaped portal opened and they walked through but they weren't at all prepared for what they saw...

Anneliese was breastfeeding Alek and rocking him as well, while Jessica was asleep in her crib.

She had to keep them calm otherwise their lights will operate which will drain their energy reserves, possibly to the death, every laugh could spell doom for these special children.

I hadn't woken up since Anneliese put me to sleep but she sensed Jessica rattling the bars on her crib.

Anneliese walked to her and saw her singing a song in her own language while playing an out of tune beat.

She started to understand the tune a little then said to herself,"Baby cloud?"

Baby cloud was the lullaby I always sang to them.

Anneliese was confused as she remembered and was singing it, but Alek joined in, it most definitely had something to do with their lights.

Just then she widened her eyes and placed Alek down then ran to me as I crawled on the floor, trying my best to get to my children.

Anneliese ran to me then I yelled for her to let me go and she saw my glowing eyes.

I placed one hand on the floor and struggled to my feet then yelled and a shockwave rushed through the mansion, shattering all the windows and walls.

Anneliese remembered the children and ran to help them as they cried.

She controlled their minds to make them fall asleep and had to find a way to stop me.

I was floating an inch in the air with currents of water circulating me.

I then looked back and swiped my arm, making a monstrous wind which tore through the remaining walls and tore the trees in the garden and ripped off the grass.

I then stretched my arm and Anneliese yelled,"Sleep!"

My eyes stopped glowing then I fell to my knees and she ran to catch me as I fell into her arms.

My eyes were fluttering to they closed and she kissed my forehead...
