I hate you.

Miranda hurriedly exited the vehicle. She squatted on the roadside and puked. She felt worse and was too weak to stand.

With an unhappy expression on his face, Richard pulled the door open and exited the car. He blamed himself for having a ride with a drunk woman. He should have just dropped her at the snack stand.

George and Richard stood a few meters away from Miranda and watched her as she vomited. The scene was hilarious.

Richard moved closer to Miranda. Richard had already taken Miranda in his arms and walked towards the Fuller Villa.

"You're back, Mr. Fuller," Emily remarked when he saw him. "What's wrong with Miranda?" Of course, Emily would be surprised to see Richard come back with Miranda in his arms. They were not on good terms until this morning.

Richard practically threw her on the bed the moment he walked into the bed. He then went into the bathroom. The instant Richard stepped out of the bathroom, she glimpsed a shirt in his hand. It was the shirt he wore when he was hammered that night.

As soon as she spotted the white shirt, her expression stiffened. She again recalled the lipstick stain on the collar.

"Richard, Are there a boatload of women around you?" She asked.

Pausing in tying his necktie, he spun around and shot daggers at her in vexation.

"Are you jealous, Miranda?"

Surprisingly, Miranda approached him and pushed him against the wall with all her might. She placed both her slender hands on either side of him, her stance domineering.

"No. I am not" She snapped.

With a frown face, she wrapped his arm around Miranda's waist suddenly and pressed her back against the wall.

"Miranda, my morals are not that distorted." Richard took a deep breath to appease the impending anger that the woman was creating.

Although Nicole cheated first, Richard broke off all ties with her after ending their relationship. If Richard had not sworn to fulfil the request when Jenson was on death bed. Richard would not even look at Nicole and comply with her requests.

The next second, he picked up Miranda and placed her on his bed. "Freshen up and sleep!" He said before he walked out of the room.

Miranda slept until she woke up naturally. When she roused, the sun was already overhead. Rubbing my eyes, she fumbled for my cell phone. The instant she glimpsed the time, her eyes instantly went to hell. It's eleven o'clock in the morning? Oh God, how did I oversleep? Damn it! I'm already late for work today!

Meanwhile, Amelia opened the door and saw Richard standing next to the window while speaking on the phone.

Not wanting to interrupt, she casually made his way over to the couch.

Amelia waited until Richard had gotten off the phone before asking, "Richard, You better divorce Miranda. All the employees were talking about her. They saw your lovely wife hugging Supervisor Michael."

Miranda could sense that all her colleagues were looking at her differently.

"Really? Why would Miranda seduce him? Isn't she married?"

"Ah well, people nowadays are willing to do anything to succeed and climb up the social ladder."

Her colleagues' gossip drifted into her ears loud and clear. Hearing that, she felt utterly aggrieved but she tried my best to feign ignorance and simply kept her head buried in work. But at that precise moment, her cell phone rang with a call from Richard.

She headed to Richard's office and stood in front of his desk. She gazed at Richard, who was approaching her, with an indifferent gaze.

"Miranda, Are you go short of men?" Richard bit out the words, glaring at her as he spoke.

The frown on her face deepened. "What are you saying? I don't understand."

"Stop acting like you have no idea what I'm talking about." His dark orbs brimmed with ridicule and his mouth twitched slightly.

Levelling her gaze with his, she said, "Michael is just my supervisor. The rumour is baseless."

After a brief pause, he curled his lips and spat disdainfully, "There is no smoke without fire, Miranda"

His words hit her like a bucket of cold water, chilling her to the bone. Her eyes dipped down as a hint of bitterness shone through them.

"Richard, Who are you judging me?"

Richard suddenly gripped her chin in a trice and spat out in a low and dangerous voice, "You seem to have grown a spine, Miranda Hudson"

Shaking off his hand forcefully, she put some distance between them and stared at him coldly.

"Is that how you saw me? I gave my first to you and you..." She couldn't complete her words.

"Richard, I hate you," Miranda shouted before walking out of the room, slamming the door on her way out.
