Two Places at the Same Time
"Hello, Belinda is here and she wants to speak with you." I am reading the emails as we head to Hill Hotel. I send a reply to her, "okay." Is there a reason for Belinda to ask them and text me at the same time, seriously?
I close that email and open another one and again it is from Belinda, what is it that she wants to talk about? Has she realized it is time for her to go back to what she used to do or what? Because I won't mind that, I will welcome the resignation letter with open hands.
I look up and I find the driver looking at me, I am not going to ask her why, so I continue working on my laptop. The car slows down and when I look to see why I see the driver is handing me the chocolate.
I laugh and tell her, "thanks." I take it and instead of eating it, I hold it in my hand, I look at my laptop but not for long as I can feel the driver's eyes, without even looking at the rearview I tell her, "I will eat it. Thanks."
