chapter Twenty-Eight-Inigo's Revenge Plan

Inigo sulked to his room, angered by his brother's slap over the Lisa incident. He dialed a number and, listening intently, agreed to follow instructions but insisted it shouldn't be lethal.

"Okay, I'll ask my brother when she's getting discharged," he said before hanging up. "I'll make sure she pays dearly," he muttered to himself as his father entered.

"Aren't you tired of trying to ruin someone else's life?" His father questioned.

Inigo scoffed, "you're one to talk," laughing as his father frowned.

"What do you mean by that?" Simeon asked.

"It would be better if you stop interfering in my life," Inigo retorted.

"Inigo, you've changed ever since your mother died," Simeon observed.

"And whose fault is it?" Inigo shouted

"You better change now, you have a chance before you lose everyone dear to you," his father warned before leaving him alone.

"I don't care what anyone has to say," Inigo declared, lying down on his bed.

*******************************************************Diego returned home, and Inigo was the first to welcome him.

 "How is she? Inigo inquired.

Diego sternly replied, "you don't have the right to ask that, but one thing you should know is that you are lucky that nothing happened to her. She'll be discharged three days from now," before heading upstairs to his room.

"Thank you, brother, for the info," Inigo said, smiling.

*******************************************************The next day, Diego visited the hospital to see Lisa, finding her peacefully sleeping. As he quietly arranged the things he bought for her, Lisa greeted him with a startle, saying, "good morning, brother in-law. You should see your face," she added with a smile.

"What did you call me?" Diego asked, also smiling.

"Brother in-law. Aren't you marrying my sister?" Lisa questioned.

 "I'm planning to," Diego replied.

"Good, so what's in the bag?" Lisa asked, looking at the contents.

"Your favorite snacks and some fruits for you," Diego answered.

"That's very kind of you. What about Rachael? Didn't she come with you?" Lisa inquired.

"No, she had something important to do. But she'll be here later in the day," Diego explained, and Lisa nodded in understanding.

"It's good this way because I'd like to ask you for a favor," Diego said.

"As long as it's helpful and harmless, then I'm game," Lisa responded, and Diego nodded, smiling.
