chapter Forty-Nine-Beastly Confrontation in Library

Lisa confronted Inigo as he walked to the library with Dad, delivering a resounding slap that drew attention of other students, including Recca, who hurried over.

"Why the slap, Lisa?" Inigo asked, looking shocked. "What did I do wrong?"

"Look at what you did to recca because of your selfish reasons," Lisa retorted angrily. "Who do you think you are? You act as if you're entitled to everything and can do as you please. Well, listen up. Recca is my best friend, and I won't tolerate anything happening to her. So, I'm warning you now: stay away, or you'll regret it."

At that moment, kin arrived. "what's wrong, Lisa?" he asked, noticing the tension.

Inigo glanced at kin and recognized him from the previous day.

"Is he not the guy from yesterday?" kin asked Lisa, who confirmed his identity.

"Yeah, he's a beast in human form," Lisa said with disdain. "He's shameless. I can't stand him."

Kin stepped in, putting a protective arm around Lisa. "Listen, I don't know you, and I don't care to, but stay away from her. If I catch you bothering her again, you'll have me to deal with."

Inigo scoffed. "Who do you think you are?" he challenged.

"Don't test me," kin warned sternly.

Inigo turned to Lisa, then abruptly left, leaving Recca smiling in the background.

"Let's go," Lisa said to kin, and they exited together.

"Thank you, Lisa. But who is this guy?" Recca inquired.

"This is the guy I was telling you about, kin," Lisa replied with a smile.

"Hello, kin. It's nice to meet you," recca greeted warmly.

"It's no problem. I'm happy to meet a friend of this beautiful damsel," kin replied, causing Lisa to blush.

"I can see how you're making my friend blush," recca teased as kin chuckled.

"Why don't I take you two out for lunch?" kin offered.

"That would be great! I'd really love that," recca exclaimed as they got into his car and drove off.
