CRAZY BOSS
After minutes of walking and entering two different elevators, Adinah got herself lost in the mansion view, till the last elevator brought them to a somewhat dark corridor.
Then only light that illuminated the corridor was the faint light from a window, at the far end of the corridor, which had a cutton covering it up
She felt her head bump on Lucius back "I.. I am sorry sir, it quite dark in here"
" I am very used to this that I have forgotten about others" his hands moved to a switch and he turned it on
Adinah shut her eyes close due to the light that penetrated her eyes, and the plain interior of the corridor greeted her eyes, with only two fancy doors which stood opposite each other
"And that your room" he pointed to the one on the left part of the corridor
"Ohh" she said as she gave a little bow, and turned to where her supposed room was, she walked towards it, and was about to turn on the knob "I never asked you to leave yet, I only pointed your room out for you" her hand froze in mid air as she retracted it back
" Was I just meant to stay, and continue feeling like a weirdo" she whispered
" Are you saying something red" she heard the man's alluring voice, which felt hypnotising to her ear
She turned back, facing him with a smile "nothing" she said
"Oh good" a smile not reaching his eyes adorned his face " then you can go"
'What' she stared at the man in disbelief, if he was going mad, she felt like elbowing his head multiple times to get him to his senses
"You really want to stand don't you" he said as he leaned on the wall of the other door, watching her
" Uhh no, I would get going" if not for he was her boss, only God knew what she would do
She went back to turning the knob "Are maids not meant to have their outfit, why is mine not having one" she heard him ask
'Did you make one for me' she asked in her head making sure she wasn't going to utter it out 'was she supposed to turn to give him a reply, or just go inside' she asked herself confused on what to do 'why was this man like this' she asked herself almost in the verge of crying
"Don't worry, you can go inside, your outfit would be provided tomorrow, and you working session starts tomorrow" he stated " And you can get your food downstairs too, take your fill today, because as from tommorow, I won't go gentle on you" he said and she had the slamming of door
She sighed in relief, and placed her hands on her chest "What a sick humanoid, I won't go gentle on you either" she muttered and unlocked the door
What greeted her eyes next was an extravagant large room "Was this how the room of a maid is supposed to look like" she asked herself as she stared at the room, which consisted of a beautiful king sized bed, reading desk, a sofa, wardrobe, a large mirror which encircled half part of a wall, an air conditioner.
She remembered in her exuberant life, her room was somewhat like this, the only thing that seems different was the girlish stuffs in her room. The maids in her house, had little rooms like cotton Candy's shop
Then if the life of a maid was like this in here, what the bother, she plopped herself down on the bed, which swallowed her in it 'so soft and comfy' she rolled on it, smiling like a banshee, for a minute, she had forgotten all her sorrows as she rolled herself about

Her happiness died down, when she suddenly remembered her siblings, she hadn't called, and here she was....
She ruffled on her hair, and quickly searched for her phone in her purse, finding it, she quickly dialed Drusillia's number, and it started ringing
"Hey, sup Addie, how is it going" her sister's voice, which she had missed even though she had just left her hours ago popped out
" Am good silly Sillia " Adinah smiled as she replied her little sister
"Already missing me" Drusillia joked "One day without me, is one day of hell ryt" she added
" Yes, I know, Cyrus isn't back from school yet ryt" Adinah asked
" Yh, he hasn't"
" Please, take care of Cy, help him with his homeworks, no use of curse words on my little boy" Adinah said like a mother instructing her child
" Ohh please Addie, I can take care of Cy properly, then how is your working experience their going" Drusillia asked
" I am to start working tomorrow" Adinah said
"Okay, bye sissy" Drusillia said as she hangs up
Addie made a breathy sigh.

Lucius couldn't help with the air of mischief that loomed around him, it was his first time, getting this close to an opposite sex
His amusement couldn't be held in, he felt like a seven years old, who had just gotten himself a new toy
The normal cigar dance in his hand, engrossing himself in the scent of cigar and whiskey
Smoking had become part of him, he felt it as a way to take pains away, it had become a part of his life, other than other men who drown themselves in lust, he smirked, knowing his life was meant to have being like the other men, who took pleasure like their eating and drinking, if not for his stepmother
At the age of 16, the once innocent, and dreamy child that he was was taking away from him, replaced with the recent him, due to his painful childhood, he couldn't feel the betterments of the world again
That same age, when he had become so dull to life, he ran away from his stepmother, and took smoking as an addiction at that age, that same age, he had promised to get his revenge
The molestations from his supposed stepmother had turned to a nightmare, and an illusion which was haunting him now
'if his mother hadn't died from a chronic sickness, would he have suffered this trauma' this question had being what he had being asking himself since childhood
After Lucius Mother had birthed him, she was promised by his father to get married to her, for giving him his first heir, but a month before their marriage, it was heard that she had fallen sick and died
Lucius knew their was more to his mother's death, but he was to weak to bare the pain of the real truth
Now seeing the red haired lady who he could touch without seeing his past in her, was it plain faith
He would keep the red haired lady very close to him for a week, to see if he could still by chance see his past in her, which he prayed not, or else his last hope was gone, and if he doesn't find the himself seeing his past on her, he was keeping her
He leaned his back into the sofa and became expressionless again

Adinah was done unpacking her stuffs when it was close to time for her to sleep.
She slowly locked the wardrobe and let out a mouthful yawn, she brought out her hello Kitty pyjamas, and kept it on the bed, quickly discarding the cloth she had on, and wrapped her body in a towel, getting into the bathroom to have her shower
Shower head, an hot tub, a mirror, sets of new towels on a hanger, tooth brush holder, non slip bathmats and other toilet accessories too, in the large bathroom, which was a one and a half of her rented apartment
She quickly took her shower from the shower head, even though the hot tub was somewhat tempting.
She dried her hair with one of the towels in the bathroom, and changed into her pyjamas, downing herself in the bed, as she turned off the room light and dozed off.
In the middle of the night, a figure crept into the room where Adinah slept
The figure hovered above her without moving an inch away from her

Adinah opened her eyes in the darkness of her room, and saw two pairs of eyes staring at her, thinking it was her sleeping eyes picking on her, she use the back of her palm to rub on her eyes
Opening it back to still see the eyes in the shadow, she made a loud scream, piercing through the walls of the mansion, only to feel a pair of large hands cover her mouth, and her heart ran wild, as she tried to push the strong hands away from her mouth
'was this house haunted', 'or was it a robber', 'was it the end for her' questions ran through the streams of her mind
"Mfff mfff" she muffled as she used both her hands to try getting the hands away from her mouth
The light in the room was suddenly turned on, and what greeted her face was that of her master, Lucius Brown, not a monster, not a robber' but Lucius Brown
Her chest heaved up and down and she hadn't realize the tears from her eyes 'what was this man doing in her room in the first place'
Lucius stared at the woman who had almost screamed her brain out, as if she had seen a frightening monster "First day of work, and you are making a huge fuss by screaming red" he said slightly caging her to the bed
" Yo.." she almost cursed at him when she remembered he was her boss "You are here Master Lucius" she smiled sheepishly at him, as she tried to push herself out of his arm
"Yes I am red" he smiled back at her
"I didn't know you where here earlier hehehe" she forced out another smile on her face, she wished she had the power, she would have strangled this man to death
"Now you know" he said mimicking her smile
He races himself up from caging her "it four, and am to go to work by six am, but my personal maid as not began her job and here still lying on her bed" immediately he said those words, Adinah quickly stood on her bed, still in her pyjamas
'but where should she start from, should she ask him' she stared at his face curiously, wondering if she should ask him
"I want a cup of coffee from you at 5:00 every morning, my clothes should have being picked by you and iron fresh before the day of work, I want my tie knotted by you every morning, my room should be kept neat before my arrival , and bed spread should be changed everyday, and neatly spread also, and note this important one no searching of my personal belongings" he stated all, without mixing up words
The other one's where easy, but the knotting of tie was the problem" But I don't know how to knot a tie" she cried out
"Then learn it" he said " go get me my coffee" he walked out of her room, as she slid back down on her bed, and started throwing kicks in the air in frustration
"Crazy Boss" she cried out
Checking the time, she only had twenty minutes in making him his coffee, she quickly runs out of the room, in mission to start looking for the kitchen, praying she won't get lost in the mansion also
