The ordinary world is not what it seems. Many strange events unfold in the background but go unnoticed by the masses or are covered up. A supernatural world exists along with the natural world which can only be seen by those called Balancers. Spirits and Evil Spirits exist along with Balancers who possess unique powers to see and fight them. Among the many ordinary humans, a girl undergoes a lot of suffering and experiences a prophetic vision. It grants her knowledge of the hidden world and of some future events. The girl loses almost everything she has and then takes the steps needed to become a Balance Breaker. Her past identity has to be abandoned for the sake of survival so she renamed herself Ash. Ash gains the powers of a Skin-Walker and begins living in such a world taking on the appearances of others, experiencing their lives and living under the mask of another person.

Ash had adjusted her own time of waking up and her overall routine in order to adjust to whatever changes her possible suspect could make to their own plans.

She was not aware of the fact that her current suspect could change their plans but she made sure to plan for that possibility.

The profile being displayed showed no changes and there were no new updates posted which would mean one of a couple of things.

The first was that nothing bad had happened and that there was nothing to worry about since there had been no sudden disappearance of their replacement Ferret but there was still some room for it to happen anytime soon.

The second was that there could have already been something that had taken place but the family were much too busy and distraught to go online to post about it anywhere.

The third was that they had yet to check in on their Ferret or had yet to even wake up so they were incapable of finding out if anything had happened or not.
