Chapter 33 – A love letter to Ares (Part 02)

"What the…. It is another Dona at the end."

It appeared to his right in a flash leaving shattered path in its wake. It clenched its fist and punched aiming at his face coursing the punch to the ground. Kai dodged it by appearing behind it. The punch hit the ground and shattered it whole.

Still its hand in the ground it used its hind leg to land a back kick at kai. Kai evaded it by standing on top of its leg. He ran on its leg and landed a knee joint kick at its head. The force shattered both its face and Kai's leg completely. Kai jumped off of its leg and in a blink his wound disappeared.

It dashed at Kai with a rear hook. Kai performed a spinning hook kick to change the trajectory. Using the momentum he leapt and landed a stomp kick at back of its knee. It stood up and leapt for a flying knee strike. As the knees grazed Kai's face he spun evading it and threw a back kick. Just as its feet touched the ground, it evaded it by moving to a side and spun itself for a clothesline punch. Kai evaded the punch by doing a pin drop and swiping its leg.

With a thunderous roar it rushed towards him with a hook punch. Kai timing the punch, back flipped evading it and landing a kick to its jaws at the same time. As it took a step back from recoil, Kai landed 20 consecutive jabs, hooks, crosses and uppercuts and ended it with an oblique kick at its knee.

Taking upon a front stance clenching his fists he let out a huge breath. The monster appeared in front of him in a second aiming at his torso, Min Jung appeared from behind aiming at his abdomen. He performed an aerial cartwheel angling both the punches to evade. Gunungsin turned back for a punch, Kai evaded it with a backflip screw 360. From the point where he will land, Min Jung threw a back kick. He evaded it with a B twist flip and landed a split kick at both.

Gunungsin stood much faster than Min, Kai reached it with a dive roll and kicked it on its abdomen. Min dashed and stomped aiming at Kai's face. Kai did a head spin to evade and landed two consecutive kicks at Min's face and used his momentum from the spin to swipe her off balance. Following the leg swipe he threw her using a leg wheel (Ashi Guruma).

"His fighting is a mixture of everything…. It's a trash bin. Yet we aren't able to land a single proper hit on him...."

"It's like he is seeing our move prior."

Noting such strong destructive power, kai focused on the 'Gunungsin' ignoring Min.

Gunungsin's each throw had the effect to demolish an entire building. One single hit from it could prove lethal.

Gunungsin threw a straight punch that Kai received with his chest. Kai was sent flying 6 kilometers away from Min. Kai slowly stood up with hole on his chest. In an instant the hole disappeared as Gunungsin walked towards him. Dark matter coated Kai's entire right arm. His right arm began to oscillate at an alarming rate.

Gunungsin dashed again with a straight punch. He used its arm for a speed vault and used it's torso as a wall to perform a backflip screw 360 to land a direct punch to its head with his oscillating arm. Gunungsin skin peeled as it blasted without a trace.

"What was that noise?"

"Did Gun—"

A punch was landed on her abdomen. She looked down to see Kai appeared out of nowhere defeating Gunungsin. See summoned 'Bonghwang' to heal herself.

"Bang"

Kai pointed a finger gun at the phoenix and blasted it, cleansing it. She not being able to heal herself, rushed clenching her fist at Kai. Kai barraged her with roundhouse kick, drop axe kick, two jabs, side kick, uppercut, back kick and front kick respectively. Blood spilling out of her mouth she fell on the ground unable to get up.

"F-For Chisaka…. Sama…..I….will…."

Although covered with blood and broken bones she crawled toward Kai.

"Eh….. You're still able to talk?"

Kai walked towards her slowly and sat on a pile of rubble on the ground. Kai slowly opened his mouth as he was about to speak something. She remained in the spot she was in and looked up at listening attentively.

"I won't take your life….. It would be pointless."

"…."

"Train…. Train much more….."

"... Train for months, train for years or even train for centuries….."

"…..and you still won't be able to defeat me,"

She looked at him with despair and hopelessness with herself as tear began to spill out of her right eye. She fought hard to hold the tears off.

"Become stronger and Challenge me once again…. Then become much much more stronger and challenge me once again. And even then you'll face such embarrassing defeat at my hands."

With speaking the finals words, Kai stood up to leave. As kai walked for some distance far away from Min, She started to cry.

As he began to walk, the veil went off. A big hole opened through space above him and he was pulled into it. Kai leapt out of it clenching his fist and aiming at Chisaka's head. Chisaka evaded it by taking a couple of steps back in a rush. Kai landed his punch on the ground and the ground shattered completely.

Blowing out air from his mouth, Kai took front stance (Zenkutsu dachi) clenching his left fist stretched at Chisaka and the right arm clenched near his chest.
