Chapter 13 – The ballad of a horse (Part 02)

Eureka turned into energy monster. She pointed her finger at Kai, Kai's chest blasted out of nowhere. No energy beam or anything were shot out of her arms, his chest simply blasted. She now pointed at Aiden's head, but before her attack could reach him, he dodged it. Even though he managed to dodge her attack, his arm was injured by a simultaneous second attack of hers.

"—Shit, her attack powers are too high."

Kai stood up after receiving her attack head on. The wound inflicted on his chest was gone, even the hole pierced in his shirt was gone.

"AIDEN!!!" Called his friend, Kai.

"Go bring professor or someone, I will keep her busy."

As soon as Kai finished his sentence, Aiden jumped off the building and ran without looking back.

"Fufufu, running away with your tails behind your legs….."

"…..How cute."

Eureka once again pointed at Aiden's head but before she could blast him, Kai interrupted by taking the hit once again with his chest protecting Aiden. Aiden successfully made a getaway.

"Tsk…"

"Fufufu…. Cute, protecting your friend with your life. ~"

"What life?" Said Kai with a smirk on his face, showing off his once again unscratched chest.

Kai took a stance and dashed toward her not using his time stop powers. She simultaneously shot invisible beams at him. He dodged every single one of her attack and reached her. He used his elbow to land a direct hit onto her head, since the attack was not infused with sound it had no effect whatsoever. She grabbed his guts by her palm, the heat from her palm melted his skin and she shot a beam of light piercing his stomach.

*Blink

He appeared behind her completely unscarred and once again used his elbow to land a hit, but this time it was infused with sound. She kneeled to the ground due to the impact and the impact passed onto the building they were standing on, cracking it. Just for a second when his attack touched her, her energy form went off and on like a light bulb.

"Hehehe…. I will kill you kid. ~"

A shock wave generated from the point of her head which his elbow was at and sent him flying couple of meters away.

"Be a good little boy and die for what you did. ~"

"I refuse."

"Then perish by my Holy hands."

Four more arms grew out of her back on either sides. He reached her on a blink of eye being a meter off of the ground with his knee aiming to her head. She used her elbow to receive the attack head on. The shockwave created shattered every windows to a certain radius. He threw a punch at her while still being airborne which she once again blocked with her newly appeared arms.

Once his foot reached to the ground he attacked consequently with punches and kicks in a fighting style more of an unorthodox manner. His moves were pure hot mess of martial arts, kickboxing and a bit of break dance put together. She was able to block and throw some punches back at him cause of her six arms, but still some of his attacks landed on her. Every hit landed on her made her power go in and out like a flickering light. Surprisingly enough, this time Kai didn't use time slow.

"DON'T TRY TO ACT COCKY, YOU LITTLE BRAT."

A blast generated from her body throwing him away about a kilometer distance. Even before he could land after the effect of the blast, she appeared in front of him forcing a punch.

*Blink

Their position changed and Kai used his left leg to push her to the ground while they were both airborne to use her as a board for landing.

She stood up with boiling anger and cloned herself into six including her. Each and every one of her appeared in front of Kai in a blink of eye. He dodged every one of them using judo and martial arts in a more refined way unlike how he previously fought.

"Wait…. His movements changed."

He duelled with all six of them consequently 6 vs 1 by jumping through space from back, front and sides shifting from refined manner of combat to a purely unorthodox mix of hot mess. One of her clones sneaked behind Kai and tried to grab him from behind. He turned to the clone in an instant and weapon hauled a complete sword and slashed the clone making it disappear. He stared right in the eye of one of the remaining five.

"He found the real me…. No, before that, this kid asked for a weapon, he shouldn't be able to….and yet now he is doing a complete weapon haul….?"

"No, no, Wait. His eyes. His eyes are heterochromia??"

"This is that kid, Aiden… he have possessed him."

"No wonder he fights like two person."

"Looks like she found out, Kai."

"Looks like it." Kai talked to himself.

"You left kid, when did you even posses him?" Asked Eureka with a puzzlement on her face.

"I never left…. No one ever never run from a battle."

Saying that Kai summoned another sword to his right arm. One from five of Eureka moved away from other four while other four stood firmly ready to battle him. Kai made the first move by slashing one with his left arm and stabbing another clone with his right making both those clones to disappear. He walked toward the one that walked away, ignoring the other remaining two. They both jumped to attack Kai, he kept on walking but all of sudden two slashes appeared on either one of them. One on stomach and other on back making them disappear.

His right arm directed a stance of sword at her reassembling kendo art while his left pointed the sword at random.

"Let's end it with this."

Both Kai and Eureka dashed at each other. While the combat started two eureka jumped out of the original and battled them along with the original. Whilst slashing the fakes, new one jumped to fill its position, but there was a limit for number of Eureka to appear at once, 6 was the limit. Some of Kai's movements were refined whilst others were random, it changed from refined to unorthodox arbitrarily. Although Aiden's and Kai's fighting styles were different the synergy between them was beyond amazing.

Kai's right arm let go of the weapon haul and punched the original on the head toward the ground making other five clones disappear from shockwave. The force sent the original flying about 100 meter away.

"YOU LITTLE PIECE O—"

Everything around kai stopped including Eureka. Eureka was stopped on her state of power off by the previous attack. He slowly walked toward Eureka.

"Aghhh….. Still amazing as ever…." Said Aiden in Kai's body looking at the buildings' rubble and broken pieces of windows around them frozen mid way in the air before it could hit the floor.

Kai walked up to her and resumed the time and touched her head with his palm before her power would trigger again which made her freeze on spot for a second. She slowly opened her mouth as if she was about to say something.

"Yo Kai, Guess we won…. Hehehe."
