Prologue?

I'm Alexis Simpson and I'm a really shy girl. Sometimes I wonder why I live around people, I always have this thought of living alone in my own world but I can't even sleep alone in a dark room because I always get scared. Well, I would love to tell you more about myself but I'm almost late for school.

"Alexis" mum yelled

I jumped down from the dining chair "coming" I yelled back, picking my backpack as I raced out through the door.

"What the hell were you doing in there? How long would it take you to eat?"

"Mum, one question at a time" I got into the car.

"Keep your damn mouth shut" she got on the driver's seat.

"Mum, you're driving me to school today?"

"Got a problem with that?"

I nodded.

That's my mum, very annoying. I don't really get why she'd be driving me to school this morning. As we drove on, I hoped what happened the last time won't happen again. My mum is such a real trouble.

"I hope you've got all your books and stationeries intact?" she asked like she was concerned, as she parked in the car lot.

"Mum, I'm not a kid anymore" I stepped down from the car.

"I just wanted to make sure you don't get into trouble"

"It's not like it's my first day here or something" I reminded her.

"I doesn't matter, honey"

Wait a minute, did my mum just call me honey? That's weird, I mean I've never been called any name aside Alexis.

"Whatever" I raced off.

"Alexis?" she yelled.

"What again?" I yelled back.

"No goodbyes? No hugs?"

"There's no need for that" I raced through the hallway, down to class.
