### Chapter 10: A Beautiful Woman Visits
**Bang! Bang! Bang!**
In the morning, on the second-floor gym.
Richard was wearing shorts, his hands wrapped with bandages, and his fists pounded on the iron sandbag like raindrops. The 300-kilogram sandbag swayed back and forth.
After practicing for over an hour, he was covered in a layer of sweat, and the muscles on his arms, shoulders, and chest trembled slightly, a sign of exhaustion.
But he had no intention of stopping. In many boxing matches, it often comes down to willpower and tenacity. The more powerless one feels, the more potential can be unleashed.
This was Richard's insight after more than ten years of practicing boxing.
He had moved many times since childhood, from the streets to orphanages and back to the streets again. No matter where he went, he couldn't escape the law of the jungle.
He was once small and thin, with no parents, and was often bullied.
Since being electrocuted, his physique had been enhanced. As he aged and continued training, the effects became more pronounced.
To tap into his potential, he often attended classes at various martial arts schools, learning Chinese kung fu, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Karate, wrestling, and yoga.
After graduating high school at sixteen, he entered a boxing gym as a sparring partner and apprentice, practicing boxing and mixed martial arts.
Because his recovery ability was above average, he was more desperate and fearless during practice, unafraid of pain or injury.
At seventeen, he entered the underground boxing world, progressing from the youth group to the adult group, from lightweight to middleweight, then to light heavyweight, mixed martial arts, and cage fighting.
The more he won, the sharper his fists became. He survived on his fists, and no matter when, he would never give up practicing boxing.
**Bang! Bang!**
Iron fists struck the center of the iron sandbag, creating a deep round dent.
"Whew~"
Richard slowly finished his exercise. Looking at the dent on the sandbag, he laughed heartily.
"Hahaha~ My boxing skills have finally reached an invincible level~"
"Richard, someone's here to see you!"
Suddenly, a loud voice came from downstairs, shaking the floor.
Richard's expression changed. Such strong internal power. He must avoid this person in the future.
"Susan, who is it?"
"A beautiful woman!"
"Really?"
Richard's handsome eyes lit up. He looked over the railing and almost fell over. Damn, why is she here?
"Richard, is this the BAA you said has great potential, only slightly inferior to IMG?"
Bundchen smiled slightly, looking up.
Richard wiped his forehead and smiled, "The company is newly founded, so it's a bit crude. Pardon the mess. I'll be right down."
Bundchen smirked, knowing Richard was unreliable, but not expecting him to be this unreliable.
This BAA agency probably only had the signboard. If she had been fooled by him, well, that would have been impossible.
After seven or eight minutes, Richard came down, dressed.
"Bundchen, why are you here?"
"I have a few days off. I thought I'd visit your company since it's nearby."
Bundchen smiled.
"Surprised?"
Richard pointed at the company.
"Indeed, before I came, I thought you would have at least a few employees, but it seems like it's just that lady."
"No, including me, the chairman, there are two employees in total."
"Pfft~"
Bundchen bent over laughing.
"Want to take a tour? My place combines company and apartment, with bedrooms, offices, a gym, and a scenic balcony upstairs."
Richard invited.
"Would you use force if I don't go?"
Bundchen blinked.
". Absolutely not!"
Richard said, clenching his fist.
Bundchen laughed and followed him inside.
"Ms. Susan, please make two cups of coffee and bring them up."
He said, winking forcefully.
Susan rolled her eyes and said in a falsetto voice, "Mr. Chairman, please wait. Coffee will be ready soon!"
**Hiss~**
Bundchen tripped slightly, almost falling on the stairs.
"Careful, it's a bit dark in the stairwell."
Richard said, holding her.
"Susan is BAA's receptionist?"
Bundchen laughed.
"Not just that, she's the chairman's assistant, HR manager, receptionist, and company security."
"Haha, your company has nothing. Why put up a sign? To fool naïve girls like me?"
"God is my witness, I never lied to you. I said the company is inferior to IMG and gave you the exact address. I never intended to deceive you."
"Alright, you indeed didn't lie."
Bundchen smiled, walking to the second-floor corridor. She saw the door marked "Chairman's Office" with a metal nameplate, and couldn't help but laugh again.
"This is my office, please come in!"
He opened the door. The room was simply decorated, clean, and tidy.
By the window was a solid wood desk with a large computer monitor, file folders, a porcelain pen holder, a desk lamp, and a crystal vase with tulips. It looked quite like an office.
"You have many books here. Do you like reading?"
"Mostly novels, to pass the time."
On the right wall was a row of bookshelves, neatly filled with thousands of books, some new and some old, some bought during book sales, and some scavenged from recycling stations.
Before sleeping, he would read here for an hour or half an hour until sleep overcame him.
He read a variety of books—astronomy, geography, history, philosophy, science, mathematics—in both English and Chinese. He would carefully read what he understood, and use what he didn't to induce sleep.
Reading is indeed beneficial.
"Oh~, you have an issue of 'Vogue' from the 80s. Can I look at it?"
"Please!"
Richard felt a bit embarrassed. Next to the 'Vogue' magazines were a few Playboy issues. While collecting Playboy, he also collected some fashion magazines, totaling forty or fifty.
Bundchen picked a few issues and sat down to read.
**Knock, knock, knock~**
"Mr. Chairman, the coffee is ready."
Susan called from outside.
Richard was embarrassed for a second.
"Susan, just call me by my name."
"Oh, not pretending anymore?"
Susan asked, puzzled.
"."
Richard took the tray and sent Susan away.
"Susan is so interesting. How did you find such an employee?"
Bundchen accepted the coffee, smiling.
"Susan was an old neighbor. Her family met with disaster, leaving only her. My family also only has me left. Last year when I founded BAA, she happened to be unemployed, so I hired her.
Susan is very capable, acting as assistant, security, and cleaner, doing the work of several people. Very cost-effective."
Richard laughed.
"Sorry!"
Bundchen said softly.
"What?"
"About your family."
"Oh, it's okay. It's been over ten years. It doesn't affect me much anymore."
Richard shrugged.
"You're very strong!"
"Haha, just used to it!"
Richard pursed his lips and looked out the window. "Bundchen, want to go out for a walk? Though the Bronx isn't as bustling as Manhattan, it has many good places to eat and play."
"Reading magazines here is nice too. Let's go out later, okay?"
Bundchen said, flipping through a magazine.
"Sure!"
Richard picked a philosophy magazine and sat across from Bundchen.
