The Fall of 7th Demon Lord (Part-1)

The Eastern Immortal Lands, a blessed land where all immortals yearned to go after their ascension on the Heavenly Dao. A place where only the talanted and strongest cultivators lived was like any other mortal settlement, if the people disregarded the strength of the people living in it as well the high ranking spirit beasts on the streets, the dense heavenly qi and the breathtaking scenery. Once in a while one or two people could be seen looking at the distant mountain with fear, respect, determination, resolution, hatred and awe. Though they all had different emotions in their eyes, they looked away at that direction only for a second before they bowed their heads down with red rimmed eyes. "Come at me if you have the strength, I too want to see if the ants can take down an elephant. If not don't waste my time and simply stay where you are like good ants and wait for your death." These were the exact words that the newly ascended Sovereign Demon Aurelia had said as she confronted the Sovereign Immortal and beat him to death with her raw strength. Countless of Sovereign Immortals were angered by the arrogance of a newly ascended demoness. So many of the old monsters came out of their hiding to teach that brat a lesson for questioning their might. But even as waves and waves of cultivators came to teach that brat a lesson none of them returned.

From then onward no one dared to go against the demon lord Aurelia. The demon race flourished under her rule. Many races were suppressed and the only way to help their people a way out of this predicament was to defeat the Demon sovereign or atleast go toe to toe against her in a fight. It's not that there were no alliances formed amongst the other races, but each one failed miserably. So after the third time, every one gave up on alliances and focused on their own strength. With this the cultivation era entered a new era where more and more talents showed up. But none could match up the Demoness Aurelia.

At this moment at the highest peak in a pavallion a breathtaking beauty stood beside a still lake as her dark eyes looked at the distant sky. Her beautiful black hair danced along with the breeze as her blue robes fluttered. Like a fairy her existence itself seemed untouchable. Aloof and cold yet gentle and caring. Two different personalities that contradicted each other gave a mysterious air around her. This was what Mei saw when she entered the scene. As she knelt and payed her respects to her master a gentle soothing voice echoed "So he has finally met his end." Knowing that it was not a question Mei just gave a single answer "Yes, master. Lord Velcro fought valiantly against his enemies till his dying breath and dragged all the attackers to the yellow springs with him." A soft laughter filled with humour filled her ears but all Mei could hear was the endlesa sadness hiding under the surface. "You know I am not a kid Mei. You don't have to coax me. This all is the consequences of my decisions. The demon race has thrived for far too long that they have become too unbrideled after my ascension. They need to remember their roots and their races history so they don't make mistakes that our ancestors have. After all this is over the demon race will either learn their lesson and continue to thrive or fall apart. Everything depends on them now, I have done what ever I could have. I just want to rest now. It's has been a long journey till here. I am too tired." Mei tried to suppress the tears in her eyes as she looked at the back of the figure that she had followed for two thousand years. The words that she wanted to say were stuck at her throat. She wanted to dissausade her master that their were other ways but all words failed her when she saw the strong yet lonely back that had carried an entire race through tens of centuries. To others she may be the ruthless, vicious, arrogant demon lord Aurelia but Mei knew that it was not so. Aurelia was by far the most intelligent demon she had ever met. She planned everything to near perfection that may had once wondered if she could see the future. So when she ascended she could already predict the rise and fall of the demon race. So to stimulate the growth in the demons she instigated the other races and forced them into the age of cultivation where only power had right to speak.
