Bound To The Vampire Prince

The human race was at war with the vampires but it all came to an end when an agreement was made. A truce that had been in existence for centuries– a woman would be offered to the current vampire prince to be his wife or mistress, trapped forever as his prisoner. It sounded drastic but thousands of women would kill for that spot but Eliza was the unlucky one Some said she was lucky, while others said it was through power and wealth that she managed to catch the interest of the cursed prince. Eliza lost all her privileges the moment she was proclaimed his bride but what happens when the vampires demand for their prince to have a child with Eliza? Or he chooses another human female that would do the job. " Don't worry, I respect your decision, I understand if you want to take in another wife." She whispered with a handful of tears ready to spill out from her reddened eyes " No wife, you are the only woman in my life!" Dav exclaimed. Will that promise hold for a long time, when Eliza refused to do her duty as the Prince's wife?

Friend or Foe

" Woah, I hope there was no fight at the ballroom because I just saw the Nightfangs pass by."

Sometimes I have always wondered why people say friends are not always reliable whenever they were needed but now, I saw the reason. Leo had just blurted out such words without shame.

There, I saw Leo making out with some ladies even when he was supposed to be at his friend and prince's so-called wedding reception while Ray just stood beside the car like a male model. What friend would neglect another friend because of women?

If I could remember clearly, I didn't see them at the wedding and I had a feeling that females would be the reason for Leo's absence while Ray just didn't care.

As expected, Dav's rage didn't let him say anything as he angrily stared at his friends.

Noticing that Dav was not in the mood for chitchat and could harm the females with them, Leo gestured that they leave. The ladies hissed out an irritable sound as they stylishly stared at me. Of course, they wouldn't make it so open because of the presence of their prince but I was sensitive enough to see them.

" Eliza, wh–"

" You will address my wife as princess Eliza." Dav finally opened his mouth to speak. Leo brought his hands to the air as a gesture of surrender.

" Princess Eliza, did your husband get into some fight?" Leo asked but as said earlier, I'd planned not to say anything to Dav, and neither would I discuss anything concerning him. They should ask his mistress that question since he seemed to be attracted to her.

I stood my ground, I said nothing for a frown to form on Leo's forehead. It was only a fool that wouldn't realize that there was an issue between us.

He turned his gaze back to Dav, then to Ray, and back to me.

What a strange male!

" I'd foresee that there would be some sort of argument between you two but didn't expect it to be this early." Leo blurted out.

" There is and shall never be any issue between my wife and me." Dav immediately stepped in. I rolled my eyes at his words, it seemed that he was still very oblivious to the fact that there was an issue between the both of us.

Leo turned his gaze to me with one of his eyebrows raised but I immediately removed my gaze from his'. One thing my mother and father taught me was to never give too much information to outsiders especially when it concerned marriage. Moreover, I didn't want to be the unfortunate person that Dav would pour his anger on.

Without a word, Dav opened the backseat door and led me inside but before he did that, he gestured that his friends stay behind and I wasn't stupid to not know why he did that.

" What is it, wife? Did my brother tell you anything about me? Why have you been so cold towards me?" If I hadn't seen it for myself, I wouldn't believe that he was the same vampire that looked like he could kill a moment ago as his mood changed one hundred and eighty degrees.

I said nothing still and this made him want to touch me but when I flinched away, he showed signs of confusion.

He moved closer and I flinched, it gave a deja Vu kind of feeling of what happened earlier. His action continued until my body hit the car door, again!

A reasonable person should have known that I wanted my personal space at that moment.

" Say something please, you can't keep quiet on me, or do you wish I die?"

Wait, where was that coming from? Who said anything about dying and how did dying concern the situation on the ground? Dav surely did know how to be so dramatic.

" No, I don't wish you death." I retorted for a smile to cup up on his face and I cursed, I had just spoiled my plan of not saying anything to him.

Misunderstanding my reaction, he leaned his face closer to me and hell did I feel very uncomfortable, especially with that face that would scare even the bravest of men away. How could he just act normal with that face?

If I had thought that the situation a while ago was awkward, then it got more intense by what he did next. He placed his fingers on my chin and made me face him. I knew what he was about to do but it was like my body went into partial paralysis as I couldn't move my body. He leaned closer to my face but was saved by my newest saviour just before Dav could do what he had planned.

He cursed, his jolly friend, Leo, had knocked on the door and I wasn't deceived by the tinted glass, vampires could see through them which meant he had seen what Dav had wanted to do to me. I knew that Dav would be very angry at him for doing that.

Noticing that it was my only chance of escaping Dav, I also hit the window for Leo and Ray to step into the car.

The moment the two friends entered the car, Ray took another glimpse of me through the rare mirror. I'd noticed that he was the quiet and observant type unlike Leo, who would want to rant his mouth whenever he was given the slightest opportunity.

" Tell me prince, what do you plan on doing with your wife tonight?" Again, the big-mouthed vampire blurted out another shameless word but what surprised me was that Dav didn't seem to be angry by what his friend had just said, instead he also had his gaze on me as if he also wanted to know. It seemed Leo had said those words to escape Dav's fury.

I'd thought I married a reasonable vampire but it seemed I was wrong. What husband would allow such a sensitive topic to be discussed openly?

Again, I stared back at the rare mirror and as expected, Ray's eyes were still on me. Doesn't he know the meaning of keep your eyes on the road?

" My wife planned on doing nothing tonight, we will just go to bed." Dav shamelessly said for both Ray and Leo to open their eyes in shock.

" Wow, I must say, prince, you have changed, I never knew you had that much self-restraint in you." This time it was Ray that said words that were even more shameless than what Leo and Dav had blurted out.

It seemed that he had intentionally said those words as his gaze was still maintained on me.

" I don't need to rush my wife, she is still naive and would get used to me."

Wait, were they blind to not knowing that the person being discussed was seated in the same car they were in? Didn't they care that discussing such a topic would make me and every other lady out there very uncomfortable? Most importantly, I was disappointed at my husband.

" Enough, I would like not to discuss this again." Dav unexpectedly blurted out. It seemed that he understood the reason for my weary face but it was too late, the deed had been done.

Leo and Ray would never give me respect as a person.

The drive was dead silent until we reached Dav's house. I immediately got down from the car and hurriedly walked to the car without waiting for Dav but received the greatest shock of my life by who I saw seated in the living room with her luggage intact.

Why did the night have to present me with so many dramatic turns? How and when did Dav's mistress get to his house? And why did she have her luggage with her? Did she plan to leave with us?

I stood at the door as I blankly stared at her and she also did the same to me. Why can't I just admit to the fact that I wouldn't be the only woman in Dav's life?

" Hello!" She said as she crossed her legs. Hell, she was very attractive.

" Wh..what are you doing here?" I shuttered for a smile to cup on her face.

" What does it look like? I came to stay with Dav." She said,

Immediately after her words, Dav and his friends entered the living room and no words could describe how displeased they were. Just like me, they didn't expect to see her.

Leo cursed while Ray only smiled as he traveled his gaze to me.

" What are you doing here, Beatrice?" Dav asked.

I knew that Dav wanted her there but only acted that way because of my presence, at least, the fact that he didn't push her away when she placed her lips on his' was a testimony to my declaration.

" Hmmm, Dav I have a problem with accommodation. I will just stay for two weeks." She blurted out as fake tears started to form on her eyes.
