CHAPTER 1

The maids we're getting me ready to meet him downstairs. All my life I have been neglected. I wasn't even allowed to chose the clothes I wear or the food I eat or where I go. I was practically a prisoner in my own home.

I was called downstairs to talk to a man that I have never met in my life and talk about what exactly?. As the maids led me downstairs I saw him . The man everyone was talking about, the powerful man with the dark aura.

Words could not describe the man before me . he was so mesmerizing with his long silver hair and grey eyes and and wonderful physique. " there she is" father said as he took my hands and helped me down the stairs leading me to the dinning area.

"she's even more beautiful in person" the stranger said as he looked at me with a smile. I could see his plain white teeth. he took his glass of wine and sipped it elegantly.

As I sat down next to my father on the dinning I felt something strange, like everyone knew something I didn't and I didn't like this feeling at all.

"Julia honey"mom started as she took my hand squeezing it in hers. she looked nervous"your father and I have decided to get you married"

My jaw dropped as I stayed still in mis belief. I didn't think I heard that right. Marriage!?

I wanted to scream , I wasn't ready for marriage . "No!!" I screamed"I don't want to"

I ran to my room locked the door and fell on the bed and started crying.

That night no one came to console me except from my mother. I didn't let her in, I wanted to be alone. Did my father really want to give me away all in the name of the kingdom.

Our kingdom of jadesh was one of the biggest kingdoms in Phylia so why would he need to expand it for the exchange of me , his daughter.

I was getting married the next day and I needed to look beautiful, according to my mother .

When I woke up I hoped everything was a dream but toy disappointment it was all real . Reality came slapping to the face with it's unfairness. the maids helped me get dressed. I didn't bother to look at the mirror. I haven't seen myself in a mirror since I was eleven and I'm currently nineteen.

As I got downstairs to the garden everyone looked at me in awe. I was used to this feeling. but I didn't see what anyone saw on my face that they will look so surprised.

when I got to the garden the first person I caught a glimpse of was my mother. she ran to my and started crying " forgive my dear , I wasn't able to do anything for you I'm sorry".

" Mother it's alright everything is fine so don't worry. I'm not sad anymore so please don't worry about me". I said hugging her tightly.

The wedding took place at our garden and just like that the princess of jadesh was married to the prince of Drew.
