Henley
“I had a great time today,” I said when we pulled up at the palace gate.
Grayson must have said something to the guards because the guard smiled and waved as he motioned us through when we pulled up... a far cry from what had happened before. But to be fair, I had been crying.
I waved, smiling as we drove past.
“Well, that was better.” Declan chuckled as we headed toward the palace.
“Yes. I told Grayson what had happened, and he said he would take care of it.” I smiled, a crease forming between my eyes. “And now that I’m thinking about it, I don’t remember seeing him here the last few times I came through.”
Declan nodded, one corner of his lips curling into a sexy smile. “I had a good time, too.” He parked the car in front of the palace and turned off the engine. “Wait here.” That seemed to be his normal thing to say every time he got out of the car. He opened my door and extended his hand, helping me out. “So, what would you like to do tomorrow?”
