He's back!

Leader Chang had Li Jie on his bed as he slowly wrapped up Li Jie's wounds with a bandage, Chyou fen was already in tears.

"Is he going to be alright leader Chang?" she asked.

Leader Chang couldn't figure out what to make of it, Li Jie's heart has stopped but why does he get the feeling it isn't the end yet, Li Jie was definitely going to wake up.

"Yes, I hope, let's just give him more time okay?"

Chyou fen wiped her tears. "My guardian angel is super strong, I'm sure he'll be alright." she assured herself.

Zhang Wei rested his back on the wall with his arms crossed. "I don't understand any of this, who is he?"

Leader Chang glanced at him. "You won't understand, it's a story for another day, come on now, let's go."

Leader Chang took them out, how was Li Jie's body able to survive such a huge blast?, it's never happened before.

Li Jie found himself in a dark place like he was fallen into an abyss, the whole place was starting to consume him in it's darkness.

A sudden steam began to ooze out of his body making him groan in pain, it was so painful it made his eyes water, what was happening?, Li Jie's eyes slowly flutter open, the darkness was starting to consume him.

Where on Earth is this place?!, the steam continued to ooze out of him it was like going through torture for the second time.

There was a lightning strike in the whole place, what tha...?!, the lightning struck him so hard, he was already giving up when Mei jingjing's pretty face crossed his mind, her sweet smile and adorable look she always had on her face, Weng Lie suddenly crossed his mind as well, images of how he dragged her back to the palace while she called out to him.

No, he can't die just yet, he needs to get his revenge, he has to save his wife, he can't die, he opened his eyes and he glared at the lightning, there's noway he's going to let it kill him that easily, he can't fight it, so he can only do one thing which was to consume it.

He balled his hands into tight fist and made way for the lightning to strike him but it went into his body instead which hurt ten times more than when it struck him, he yelped in pain as the lightning went through him, it continued untill he was blinded by it's sudden light.

Li Jie remained stiff on the bed when suddenly his eyes opened and it turned from golden to white.

Mei jingjing who had fallen asleep was suddenly jolted awake with a sudden gasp as she sat upright, her birthmark throbbed painfully making her scream in pain, she touched her birthmark, why did it suddenly hurt?!, the pain didn't stop making her cry out in pain, it's never hurt this much before.

Weng Lie and his guards walked in after hearing her scream like that, they found her in tears as as she laid on the bed. Weng Lie hurried over to her.

"What happened to you?" he tried to touch her but she slapped his hands off.

"Don't you dare lay your fingers on me!" she glared at him through the pain, her voice was low.

He frowned at her. "I'm not here to hurt you, what's happening to you."

Mei jingjing couldn't hold the pain any longer and fell unconscious on the bed, Weng Lie's eyes widened.

"Mei jingjing!" he shook her gently but she wasn't waking up, he glanced at his guards.

"What are you standing there waiting for?!, call someone to check her up right now."

The guards immediately left, he was angered. "Such fools!!."

Daiyu stood in a corner watching the scene with a smirk on her face, poor Weng Lie, he has no idea Li Jie is still alive.

He glanced at Mei jingjing who had her hands on her back, he gazed curiously at it and slowly moved her hands away, his eyes widened seeing her birthmark, they've taken the shape of a lightning, what could that possibly mean?!.

Chyou fen stayed with Li Jie as she gently cleaned him up with warm water and a towel, leader Chang walked in gazing at her with a surprised look on his face, he walked up to her with a chuckle.

"Oh my!, you never told me you knew how to take care of wounded people."

"My mother taught me, I always watch the way she takes care of father so I learnt to do it too."

While they kept on speaking, Li Jie's hands slowly balled into fist as he felt the pain that stung him, he was regaining consciousness, his eyes slowly flutter open making Chyou fen gasp, she grinned excitedly.

Her guardian angel has finally woken up. She wanted to speak to him but leader Chang silenced her with a "shhhhh"

Chyou fen wondered why but did as she was told, Li Jie's golden eyes darted around the room, everything was a blur to him, his eyelids were still heavy, he just wanted to go back to sleep.

His eyes closed again and he was fast asleep.

Leader Chang held Chyou fen's hand and took her out of the room, leader Chang was awestruck by Li Jie's sudden awake. Li Jie couldn't possibly have survived the lightning unless.....

He gasped, did he absorb the lightning?!, no that's impossible, no one could absorb the lightning without getting blown up, but there was no other reason to explain he's sudden escape from death.

Leader Chang Chuckled lightly, Li Jie has escaped death and absorbed the lightning, he's back.

"Leader Chang, why did you stop me from speaking to my guardian angel?" Chyou fen asked.

"I stopped you cause your guardian angel isn't in his right state of mind yet, he should rest, you'll talk to him another time."

she nodded with a smile. "Zhang Wei kept saying he was dead, he doesn't know how strong my guardian angel is, I'm going to tell him my guardian angel is back."

She ran off excitedly to go look for Zhang Wei.

Mei jingjing sat on the bed with Weng Lie glaring at her.

"Tell me, why did your birthmark take the shape of a lightning!!"

"Even if I knew, I wouldn't tell you." she said with a considerable daring.

Weng Lie was confused, he didn't understand what the birthmark meant, it couldn't mean Li Jie was back now or could it?!, he shook the thought away immediately, it's not possible.

"Go, go get me some drink, I'm thirsty." he said.

Being his personal maid, Mei jingjing stood up and did as she was told, not that she wanted to but she didn't have a choice, if she doesn't do as he said, he would kill Chao Xua and Haorang and there was noway she could let that happen.

She touched her birthmark, if Li Jie really is no more, why would her birthmark change it's shape, could it mean her husband has returned?!
